Wonderful large house with spectacular views
A wonderful base to explore the Pyrenees that will not disappoint. The views down the Aure valley from the large deck towards Sait-Lary, the mountains beyond, and Spain are a stunning backdrop for a morning coffee and/or a drink after a day of walking in the beautiful Pyrenees. The house is in a lovely little, quite village on the valley side. It's large, very well appointed, detached and surrounded by garden on all sides. It has more than ample private parking and is an all-round great home-from-home. It's comfortable and well equipped with fast internet/wifi, AC throughout and full laundry facilities. All the bedrooms are very roomy with large ensuite bathrooms. We were welcomed by the lovely Marie, who made arrangements for our late arrival, and popped around the following day (at our convenience) to ensure everything was ok. She had some particularly good advice on hikes and the differences in the weather on the French and Spanish sides of the Pyrenees. We took that onboard and on one overcast and cooler day we ventured through the tunnel to a very warm Spain for lunch in the sun. One of the nicest and quietist walks we enjoyed was directly from the house up to Grailhen and back down around the valley through woods, meadows, and charming villages. Further afield, there are some stunning hikes to be had that suit all abilities and the nearby town of Saint-Lary had plenty to offer.

Vacances en famille
Un gîte super grand confortable et très bien équipé. L'accueil par Marie, la dame qui s'occupe du gite et de nous recevoir, est parfait, elle est adorable et de très bon conseil sur les randos et ferme environnantes. Nous n'avions pas de neige mais nous avlns profité de déjeuner sur ma terrasses tres bien exposée avec un joli mobilier. Tout le mobilier du gite est authentique et de belle qualité. Nous recommandons vivement ce gite pouvant accueillir au max 12 personnes reparties en 5 chambres et 4 sdb. Merci

Gros problèmes de mouches, chambres insalubres
Sur les photos, la vue de la terrasse etc, tout semblait très bien. mais nous avons commencé par avoir un message d'alerte de la personne qui allait nous accueillir sur place et nous donner les clés: des mouches par centaines, qu'elle ne parvenait pas à éradiquer: aussitôt aspirées, aussitôt revenues quelques minutes après, des mouches groguies, à moitié mortes, au sol.... Non la propriétaire ne nous a pas prévenus, de l'état du logement. Nous avons donc constaté sur place, tout comme les locataires précédents. Le jour de notre arrivée, une personne est venue pour refaire les joints de la salle de bain du rez de chaussée pour essayer de limiter les dégâts, nous avions du produit pour les mouches et un aspirateur ! Nous avons envoyé des photos à la propriétaire, un couple est parti en milieu de semaine, la chambre du premier étage a été abandonné, invivable, insalubre à cause des mouches. Cette chambre dispose d'un lit bébé, heureusement qu'aucun bébé n'a dormi ici. Nous pourrions écrire des pages avec ce problème de mouches mais je m'arrêterai là. Il y a eu aussi: des défaut de propreté (déchets de babibel à notre arrivée dans la salle de bain du premier, sucette de bébé dans le canapé, douche bouchée au premier), la télécommande du chauffage dans une des chambres qui ne marchait pas, donc impossible de remettre le chauffage, on a mis un chauffage d'appoint dans cette chambre, la plaque induction qui s'est arrêtée (on a réussi à la refaire fonctionner).....

Très belle maison, très pratique pour des vacances en famille avec des enfants.
Belles vacances entre promenade et ski dans un endroit magnifique. Une suggestion : apporter du gravier devant l'entrée de la maison qui se transforme en bourbier avec la pluie.

Une très belle location très bien placée
Je cherchais une grande maison pour passer une semaine en famille (skieurs et non skieurs) : cette maison est formidable.Les propriétaires ont réalisé une rénovation de grande qualité. Le salon est vaste et parfait pour des moments conviviaux, la cuisine est bien équipée et les chambres sont elles aussi spacieuses avec des salles d ‘eau de qualité. Le tout est joliment décoré et bien chauffé. On se sent très vite chez soi !!! La station de Salary est très rapidement accessible. Le grand plus : la terrasse qui surplombe la vallée, inondée de soleil, Juste parfaite ! Et une très belle vue dont on ne se lasse pas . Bref je recommande fortement, merci aux propriétaires de nous avoir permis de découvrir Salary dans d’aussi bonnes conditions.

Vacances ski
Belle maison agréable et spacieuse bien équipée. Nous avons pu profiter des extérieurs vu le temps très doux mais aussi de la cheminée équipée d’un insert le soir. Seul bémol la 5ème chambre au 2e étage n’a pas de volets ou rideaux sur les ouvertures en toiture pas très pratique pour faire dormir les enfants mais facilement remédiable. La maison doit aussi être agréable l’été.

Un séjour reposant et parfait
Une maison de cachet très vaste et agréable à vivre. Entièrement fidèle au descriptif. Dans un tout petit village surplombant la vallée d’Aure. Parfaitement au calme. Vraiment très reposant, idéalement en retrait de la station et du monde ! Tout en gardant la station rapidement accessible. Les chambres sont vastes et quatre d’entre elles ont des salles de bain. Très appréciées. La très grande terrasse et le jardin, un vrai plus : bain de soleil au calme après les retours de ballade sur une vue effectivement imprenable. Un vrai festival du matin au soir de variation de couleurs, de nuages sur les sommets. Pour les activités. Il y en a pour tous les goûts. Des incontournables aux plus simples. Ne pas hésiter l’été à se lever tôt pour certaines ballades : les lacs de Neouvielle notamment. 8h sur site ! Pour éviter la foule. Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour et les propriétaires nous ont très bien accueillis. Bravo à eux pour avoir redonné une si belle âme à cette maison.
