Stayed at The Hotel Cairns for several days while on vacation. Room was nice and all that we needed. Plenty to see and do within several blocks of the hotel. Restaurant next door provided a well rounded breakfast buffet as well. Staff was attentive to details and fulfilled any additional needs without a fuss. Overall a great stay!

Nice hotel close to the beach. Great location, close to beach, shopping and plenty of restaurants. Nice quiet pool.

The staff couldn't have been nicer, arranged for a shower before we went to the airport. Some of the facilities are dated, but clean and nice.

I was fooled by the pictures. Not nearly a 4 star hotel. First room the air didn't work and toilet ran all night. Second night they doubled the charges for the room. Not at all worth $240 for one night. 'Included' breakfast was at the Asian restaurant and was not worth $10 per person. Old and outdated. 'Close to the beach' is a loose wording. There isn't a beach like you think of a beach. It's two blocks away and is only a bag of water with no waves and no beach.

Staff made the stay very pleasant. Very convenient access to the the water, restaurants and the wharf.

This hotel was very clean however the sheets smelled so medicinal like they used hospital grade chemicals. The rooms are uninviting and not cozy at all. The poolside was beautiful and secluded feeling despite being on the main road in Cairns. We had breakfast at the restaurant which was included and pretty good.

Good location, Air Conditioning is not cold at all, Internet is very poor. Most of the time does not work.

The bed was nice. The shower head was also nice. Some of the ceramic/tile work is chipping and peeling. So, it's not 100%. The front desk clerk was nice enough. But that was the only hotel staff I ever saw? 2 people. But, it was still fine for two nights sleep. If you're coming to be pampered or for a romantic get away, I'd say look elsewhere.

This hotel was very nice. The rooms aren't luxurious, but they were perfectly fine. The wi-fi could be spotty at times but worked well for the most part. The breakfast was also very nice.

The hotel was comfortable but was showing some age. The WIFI was spotty at best which cause frustrations. Hotel is close to the waterfront and all the activities associated with Cairns. The Breakfast was good and got out early 20 year old boys out of bed. Hotel staff was friendly. Nice place but not 4 star.

The hotel is located near the Esplanade where there's numberous restaurants and shops. The staff were helpful for booking tours and recommendations for shopping. However, the room was dated. The both lavatory faucets (hot & cold) were leaking. .

The hotel was very close to esplanade. Easy access. Staff very friendly and helpful. I have no complaints. Carns itself was beautiful!! The bats are awesome to watch hanging in the trees!

Excellent value for the money. I travel through Cairns often for business and this is one of two hotels in town that I've found have the best value for the money. And the free wifi is a nice perk.

The room was good nothing fancy but clean with internet and an air conditioner that you can control the temperature and fan speed. Other motels I have stayed in Cairns the A/C is pre-set with temp. and fan speed and you can do nothing about changing the setting. It is either all or nothing. Good location within easy walking distant to downtown.
