This property was very cute and had the important stuff like AC and hot water. A little ‘rustic’ but in a fun way. The desk clerk were super helpful! We had a great stay!

Reasonable accomodation for value

Only stayed one night on our way out of Puerto Viejo. Grateful for the on site secured parking, friendly staff that went out of their way to commuicate with us about arriving after the check in counter would be closed and the hot shower. Unfortunately, the sleep was our most uncomfortable in costa rica yet. Itchy from the bed or blankets? And felt like we were in the middle of a school yard with screaming and yelling children all hours of the morning..this may not effect everyone in all rooms but definitely impacted us in room 13. The lobby area has an awesome jungle vibe to it which we loved! Close walk to the main drag!

A wonderful find.

What a wonderful find. A little peace and quiet two blocks off the main beach street. No frills but a great breakfast and coffee place two doors down. We paid a total of $55 for a Saturday night . No AC but to hear the birds and the warm breeze was wonderful. The units are all set in a tropical garden maintained by the owner of the hotel

Very nice location, close to Cahuita and La Ceiba preserve. The room was basically fine, but the bathroom was a bit stinky, and the water ceased working at one point.
