This property has a great location, near to the harbor, shops, and restaurants; however, the room we had could have been so much better with a bigger view of the water and a little more space. You had to stand at the window to see the view. As always, it is the small things that make a difference sometimes--like having only 1 small bottle of bath gel for 2 people. Another negative was the breakfast. The atmosphere felt very much like we were eating in a school cafeteria. There was one person who looked as though he was in charge of serving drinks, and making sure the buffet was stocked, but unfortunately didn't appear to enjoy his job very much. The food on the buffet was adequate but that's about it. Overall, the staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. Could be a great place with a little work.
I was stay in Regina otel from 24 to 31 May 2017. It was wanderful accommodation. Reception people was very helpfull. Breakfast was very nice and food option too much. If I go to Cagliari again that best choose shall be Hotel Regina Margarita. Thank you very much for everything...
Have just stayed two nights in a spacious delux double room. This turned out to be a corner room with extra living space (more like a small suite) and a small view of the port. It was extremely clean and tidy and in a good location for walking to shops and restaurants. The main downside was the breakfast. There seems to be a problem catering for the numbers in the morning. You need to be there very early or they run out of food. The second morning they had run out of scrambled eggs and bacon. There was a 10 minute wait for the eggs and by the time we left in another 20 minutes there was still no sign of the bacon. The bread basked was empty on arrival and was never refilled. Also bear in mind that the internet is extremely patchy. This is a modern hotel without the charm that others may have.
Excellent rooms, good size and nicely furnished. However breakfast systems let down the rest of the hotel. Hot food ran out and was not replenished for 15 mins to 30 mins at busiest time 8.30am - 9.00am. Staff helpful but looked exasperated. Hotel has small underground parking area for guests vehicles which is very difficult to navigate due to sharp bends and support columns
I very good hotel in the city of Cagliari, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was great and clean. I have very enjoyed to stay there. The only point witch can be better is the breakfast, it is a little section this is not what I am need for gay from middle of Europe 😎.
We had the pleasure of staying here for two nights for a wonderful wedding. The rooms were large, clean and decorated in a clean, uniform style. The bathroom we had a very strange zacuzzi style shower .... humm... what a disappointment. All we succeeded in doing was flooding the bathroom. The breakfast again was satisfactory but given that we were in Sardinia the only coffee available was instant. However, there was plenty of fruit, yoghurt, bread, salami and cheese. The bar man did make an excellent Mojito !
Our stay here was very comfortable. The rooms quite big and quiet. Breakfasts were the norm ( not like American breakfasts) but adequate and at least there were eggs and some fruit. On one morning the hotel did not seem to be able to cope with the amount of guests having breakfast and ran out of food that took too long to be replaced. One needs to get there early. We did not have dinner here. Wifi was free and fast.
If you want more local flavor, choose a different Hotel. During a Stay with friends we experienced the Hotel very positive. It is a Business Hotel, very nice and centrally located, clean Rooms and friendly service. They have a parking Garage. Many nice Restaurants around. So a good Place to Stay of you are not looking for a typical Sardo Hotel.
Big room with a king size bed. Breakfast was with the room and had a variety of things to eat. The hotel was in a convenient spot for seeing the Old Town and also the water. There were a variety of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel was helpful in what to see on the island during our stay.
Central location. Easy walk to lovely harbour and also to old section of city. Very friendly and helpful staff who spoke good English. Very clean, comfortable large room. Breakfast good. We used the bistro - attentive waiter and very nice meal. Car park available.
