This cherished family home, originally built in 1969, offers an exquisite blend of timeless charm and modern luxury, just 80 meters from a quiet, secluded stretch of Geographe Bay beach. The house comfortably sleeps 12 guests in large spacious rooms, making it one of the largest Airbnb listings in the area. The interior boasts a magnificent handcrafted staircase, a true rare gem meticulously crafted from local Tuart wood by a master carpenter—a material that can no longer be sourced today. Gather around the beautiful big fireplace with its striking stone surround in the main lounge, offering ample seating for over 10 people, perfect for cozy evenings. Recently renovated and stylishly appointed with luxury fittings and furniture, "By The Bay" ensures a premium stay. The home is adorned with many original stunning paintings from local and Australian artists, adding to its unique charm. The heart of the home features a large, well-appointed chef's kitchen, complete with a luxury family fridge offering plumbed-in ice and water, plus a configurable fridge/freezer zone for extra space when needed. For entertainment, you'll find three distinct lounge areas, one of which can be cleverly transformed into a full-size private queen bedroom for additional guests. Outdoors, "By The Bay" offers a large, inviting front garden, a beautiful and spacious rear verandah, and an additional decking area, providing multiple spots to relax, dine al fresco, and soak up the Western Australian sunshine. The whole house is available. apart from a storage room and the garage to the side of the house. We are available via phone and in the local area. We can arrange for a face to face welcome if required. Other than that we prefer to leave you to your own enjoyment The house is 5 full size bedrooms with sleeping for 10 people. The second living room can be transformed into a completely dedicated queen size bedroom. It has a queen size sofa bed, it is not a throroughfare of the house, and has it's own entrance and bathroom just outside the internal door to the room. If required we do have an additonal room to the side of the house which can sleep 2 adults or up to 4 kids . Making a total 16 people if required. We are unable to guarantee this is available so please contact us to discuss if this is something you require and we can advise if it can be made available during your stay. Due to the design of our charming staircase and upper landing, we kindly ask that children are supervised by an adult at all times in this area. We have thoughtfully provided protective coverings for the banisters, but cannot accept liability for any accidents should children be unsupervised upstairs.
