This motel is generally a little frayed around the edges, but our room was clean, it met our needs for a night, and we had no complaints. For accommodations on NIagara Falls Boulevard in the middle of tourist season, the Rodeway was a good value. And the bed was much more comfortable than I expected in a basic budget motel.
Not bad enough to be terrible, but oh so far from average. I understand this is a budget motel and the price reflected that, but I have stayed in inexpensive budget motels that put this to shame. We stayed 2 nights because you have to cancel before 4 pm the day before, and we arrived after 4 pm so we were stuck. The beds were clean, the bathroom clean, but with a funky odor. The carpet was a disaster- worn, torn and soiled. If only the carpet had been new, I would have given it an average. They are adding on to the office, I thought for a bigger breakfast area, but was told it was for a store to sell cigaretts and sundries. Come on- invest in new carpets for crying out loud! Definitely WON'T be back.
Booked here as an economic option compared to high priced accommodations in nearby Niagra Falls. Fairly central to all we wanted to do. Room was spotlessly clean, extremely spacious with very comfortable beds. Fluffy towels not wafer thin & worn out like most budget motels. Mini kitchenette area with sink, fridge, microwave & coffee pot. Breakfast was included in lobby & had average choice but was more than adequate. Will definitely stay here again when back in the area.
We spent three night there this last time and and am always treated right by them. Been going here for years now when go back home too family. Rooms great and clean love it here. Love the breakfast they serve there and how the staff treats me when go there.
My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Rodeway Inn and felt extremely comfortable and everything was at ease. We met many friendly people. The room was excellent and very comfortable. We love the Rodeway Inn and it will always be our choice when in Amherst, NY.
My friends and I planned a one night stay in Buffalo, NY for a concert. This was kind of a last minute trip, and none of us wanted to spend much money. Rodeway Inn was very close to our concert venue, so we decided to try it out! The gentleman at the front desk was extremely friendly and gracious during our stay. I called in advance to see if we would be able to get a rollaway bed for our room, and they provided a great one free of charge. They also let us check in early (off season). The hotel rooms are simple, but absolutely spotless. It was great that, even though the price was low, they did not compromise on cleanliness. If I visit buffalo again, I will definitely go here!
We used this hotel as a solid place to stay while in the Buffalo area. We didn't spend much time here except to sleep. The beds were comfortable, staff courteous and professional, and the hotel was clean. It is a basic, no frills accommodation that worked well for our stay of two nights. The staff were friendly and communicative, which is a bonus for any hotel you stay at.
All my requests for rooms were met. Rooms were roomy, quiet, updated and comfortable. Motel is convenient to highway, shopping & attractions. Family friendly restaurant, Bob Evans, next door. Bathrooms are clean and plenty of towels. I have made this my motel of choice for future visits.
Room is clean. Bed is perfect and close to everything. TV is mounted up on wall so you can actually see it. Reasonable priced. Paid a lot more yesterday at the room was nasty. I may just stay one more night.
We stayed one night between our Niagra Falls visit and the rest of our trip condo. The outside looked freshly painted and new. Don't be fooled. The room was decent, but not nice. Funny smell like trying to cover up smoke or something. Bathroom was not very nice and shower/curtain/sink weren't very clean and were cramped with tiny sink in with toilet and shower so multiple people couldn't get ready at the same time. Motel style, so at 5:45 am we were awakened to "neighbors" knocking on each others' doors and talking and assembling for an HOUR before they drove away. As we were loading our stuff out, there was a spider crawling across the floor-- now it's smashed into the carpet. We stopped in lobby for "free breakfast." Meat/eggs were empty. Only a few cold items. Even the coffee was completely empty. So we went next door to Bob Evans. Add that to the price of the room.
