I traveled from the USA - Hotel was recommended by local Dealer and it was great. Plenty of restaurants close to the hotel to choose from. Excellent Staff, helpful to arrange transportation from the airport to the hotel and afterward from hotel to airport. Will use next time I'm in Buenos Aires.
Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Found the Wifi to work great in the lobby, however we had minor issues with the connection from the rooms where it was dropping out. Rooms are huge, so plenty of space for your luggage. Bathroom was small and if you were being picky there could have been more storage space for toiletries. Great area and location. Supermarkets, bars, restaurants all within a few blocks. Breakfast was included which was simple but more than satisfactory. Lots of great places to eat nearby for lunch and dinner - Try 'The Argentine Experience' a couple of doors down, was the highlight of our trip.
We spent two nights at the hotel. The location is perfect, close to the restaurant area in Palermo Hollywood. Plaza Italia and the subway station is in a walking distance of lesa than 10 minutes. The room was fine and clean and the staff was very nice. They helped us with the airline check in online because we were in a hurry for our flight.
I stayed for business, the hotel is ok at best, service is absent minded. No major complaints but just a solid 2.5 stars. I asked for an iron which I never got, when my room was cleaned, no clean towels were provided (and old ones takes qway). The hotel's emergency lighting does not work--lost power for several hours and had to use stairwell with no lighting.
My daughter and I spent a week in this very sweet hotel. We had a balcony where we people watched a little while whilst getting ready to sight see this wonderful City. The room and bathroom were clean. Bedding and sheets cleaned daily. Most importantly the staff were very helpful and courteous. José was an amazing help to us and could not do enough for us. He was an absolute natural at reception and organised our evening out to an Argentinian Tango show with dinner. To top that he gave us a demonstration of the Yerba matė ritual. We had such a lovely stay. Jonatan was also a great help too. Breakfast was a traditional Argentinian buffet and for me that was good. The hotel is in a great location and needless to say we had amazing food in the restaurants there. Notably "Miranda Restaurant" a few blocks away. The steak was incredible and the portions enormous. We soon started sharing the side dishes. We loved this place and the generous, fabulous people. Bus drivers are a let down, I assume that is due to the stresses driving there. Crossing the road at a zebra crossing, is to say the least, a challenge! You soon get into it. The underground and buses are very cheap so it's easy getting to all the beautiful destinations in B.A. Loved it
Overall, the hotel was average to slightly above average. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the Palermo district in Buenos Aires. You are pretty close to any activities or cites you would want to see around the city. Additionally, there are numerous restaurants within a short walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is definitely no thrills. The rooms were fairly nice, subject to the discussion below regarding the “weird smell” once a day. Moreover, the staff was generally friendly and spoke excellent English. Given the reasonable price of the hotel, I was generally pleased. There were three main drawbacks to this hotel. Firstly, there was something really weird going on with the water pressure a few days during our stay. While this may be a rarity and beyond the control of the hotel owners, having to wash your hair and body under water that literally drips at a snail-like pace from the showerhead is generally not preferable. Secondly, every afternoon around 4ish a strange, unpleasant odor would creep out of the bathroom. This, unfortunately, caused the entire room to smell like a butt for about 10 minute’s time. Lastly, the hotel is kind enough to provide a tiny mailbox on the bottom of the shelves in front of the front desk where guests can mail postcards to friends and family. I found this to be a nice offering. However, it was a bit awkward when my niece received her “Happy New Year from South America” postcard from me on Valentine’s Day. I think the staff fails to diligently check and ensure the postcards placed in the box actually make it for further delivery. Bonus tips: I would not advise partaking in the hotel’s breakfast. I cannot recall exactly what was served. Nevertheless, I remember thinking the food was overpriced and looked like it had been baked with a child’s Easy Bake Oven. Also, do not book a car to the airport through the hotel. The cabs are much more expensive and take longer than Uber. The cab driver also made me enter a bunch of information, including my email address, and swiped my credit card on a machine that must have been purchased in 1979.
We had a very nice stay in this hotel. It's a friendly hotel and staff is very helpful. Which is very nice when you arrive in the middle of the night from the other side of the world. The bed was extremely big, which is always a bit funny. The neighbourhood is also really nice with good places to eat and shop.
We booked this hotel on January 7th because they offer a round-trip airport shuttle service at the cost of ARS700. When I requested this service, they let me know the price was actually ARS750. I agreed, but when they come to the airport to pick us up, the shuttle driver said the ARS750 cost was only for one way. I called the hotel, which still did not honor their initial quote, and they agreed to cancel the service. Even worse, when we left the hotel, I forgot my new camera tripod in the hotel. I realized this just moments after checking out, and I wrote them an e-mail telling them that I will go back to pick it up. They did not answer, so I called them and they said that they will check the room. They hung up the phone, so I called them again, and according to them, they searched the room and could not find the tripod. I think this whole situation was very suspicious. I am very disappointed, as this hotel is very unreliable and suspect. I had to adjust my airport transportation plans last minute, and am now without my brand new tripod which I had just received as a gift.
Nice and clean hotel in a good neighborhood with lots of eateries around. Breakfast is not much. Coffee is not good but selection of cereal and bread. Light on fruit and meat. You can order eggs from kitchen.
Wonderful hotel with very friendly staff and is located in a really good area. Easy access to cafes and restaurants. The room was very clean and lots of sunshine coming inside which was really great. I had a really wonderful time!
