El Conquistador Hotel

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

English / Spanish speaking staff. Comfortable for American Tourists. There is a restaurant inside and a gym. Step out 50 steps and you are on the Main Street Julio 9 and walk 15-20 minutes and you are in front of Casa Rosada, very close to Obelisk. This is in El Centro, close to the main square.. It is serviced 24 hours. Very good place to stay.

arriving late after a long flight we were devsted at mid night, felt very bad till the morning when we searched for another hotel.

This is the second time my wife and I stayed at this hotel. The location is excellent, the buffet breakfast is amazing and the staff is very friendly. Cons: rooms need some update in terms of painting, mattresses and pillows. The towels looked dirty and have reached the point that they will never be white again, time to replace all of them! Besides that, I recommend it and I wold stay at this hotel again.

The Lobby is classically elegant but the rooms are look neglected, old and worn mattresses and no heating. The food is good, breakfast also good variety but breakfast area on the 10th floor could use some renewing. All the staff is friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel; breakfast is better than other more expensive hotels.

located only a blook of 8th and about blocks to Florda BLVD shoping district. Walk On /off buss was only 3 blocks away. Breakfast was good. Room was clean., Staff was very helpful. Floor coverings were shot from the lobby thru the room where the vinyl boards were tough. Room small but adeqate. For the price not bad overall if higher priced i would look elsewhere.

I saw the official pictures posted on the site and thought I was getting a great deal for the hotel. I was disappointed when I got to my room and wished I had actually spent a little more on a different hotel. It is marked outside as a 4-star hotel, but I think this must be a legacy from its glory days, not sure it would get more than 2 these days. The room wasn't very clean either, I notice a table had some drink that was spilled on it, it dried and wasn't cleaned for days (looked like chocolate milk). The location is good, centric and at walking distance from downtown and shopping areas. If you are looking for a bargain and don't really mind staying at a lower end place, this might be worth the savings for you, but if you need a little more of an upscale environment to be happy, I'd suggest looking on.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a week, and I had an excellent experience. The staff was extremely accommodating. For example, the staff addressed any of my questions and concerns with a friendly demeanor. The location was great as well. I was in walking distance of the major tourist attractions. The rooms were clean and spacious. Also, the hotel was affordable. Overall, my stay at this hotel was great. I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Argentina!

the hotel in downtown buenos aires. a lot restaurants in walking distance good value.

Friendly staff Bilingual front desk staff Wide variety of breakfast foods in the buffet Great to have at least 4 hours of open breakfast buffet Breakfast buffet area could be crowded, could use more room space Nice to have a gym, but it was small and not all the machines worked properly Nice price for a two bedroom place, but there was no living room space The door opened up to the bathroom and to the left and right were the bedrooms. The bathroom was nice, but the toilet did not work well on the last morning The location was great, central location to attractions Nice to have parking in the hotel, but the garage was small and once our assigned parking spot was given to another guest The room had a mini bar fridge filled with snacks and drinks for purchase, but no other kitchen appliances With no kitchen, we ate out every day

Great location, nice staff, clean but lower quality of internet, gym and so forth.

This hotel is not bad at all. However, you can find cheaper better hotels in Bs As. Great central location. If you want stay in a better area, look in the Palermo neighborhood.

I'm really happy,to have chosen this hotel, the location is great, free. Wifi, breakfast exquisite and varied. Staff very friendly and helpful . I stay with my mom who lives in buenos aires, I will return to the same hotel.

Great Breakfast Spread. Room was a little hot, don't know if there was A/C as I didn't understand the controls.

Great hotel if your not going to spend much time on the room. The room is standard and the breakfast included abundant, but the same everyday.

Decent hotel in a good location. It's within walking distance to many stores and restaurants. The neighborhood seemed safe. We would stay here again.

Spent just one night before taking ferry over to Colonia de Sacramento. Fine location in that respect, but even otherwise OK, I guess. Friendly staff, even late sandwich was friendly arranged. Good value for money, can be rocemmended.

Atencion. Excelente, areas excelentes, tuvimos una great experience , gracias

Muy buen trato al cliente, perfecta ubicacion muy cerca a Los sitios turisticos...

This was a good value hotel, not too far from the subway
