If you like to feel ignored, shower in cold water or live with useless WiFi this is the place for you. You can save your great expectations for another day. Here you will most likely feel disappointed all the time. There is a lot of better options in BA.

It is an old hotel, the towels and bed sheets was torn, damaged. It was not possible to use the pool, even in a sunny day because the pool is located in an area that was windy. It is expensive for what it offers. The breakfast has few options of salty food (only scrambled eggs). The bathroom was with a terrible smell when we arrived.

I stayed there with several other people as we were attending an event a few blocks away. I didn't get to go to the pool but my room was incredibly spacious and it had a terrace so that was nice. Simple and basic breakfast but the medialunas were great. I'd stay here again.

Like many older hotels, the Abasto Hotel showed its age. The rooms were clean but the the carpeted floors had seen better days. The cleaning staff did well and the room was spotless but lacked charm, in the same way many mid-range US business hotels do. Boring art on the walls, heavy and uninteresting bedspread and curtains. That said, the safe worked, the front desk was helpful and the ballroom where we had an event was large, well lit, and very functional. The price was very reasonable and the neighborhood busy and bustling and one of the best shopping malls in Buenos Aires was only a few steps away.

Abasto Hotel has a perfect location. The hotel is just across the street to a nice mall located where the old Abasto (market) used to be. There are at least four nice coffee shops located less than 100 meters away, banks and transport. The building is quite nice, with a conference room, swimming pool and other facilities. The service are very helpful people, and they will guide you around town, get you a cab or wake you in the morning, if needed. Rooms are comfortable, and large. The downside: very noisy airco and the bathrooms need better cleaning! My shower sprayed water all over the bathroom, the bathtub walls had not been brushed, and the shower curtains were a bit old and moldy. It is fair to say that I was there for business, and the Hotel was booked for a conference. Otherwise I'm sure they would have changed me to another room.

Best hotel and best customer service. It's location is very strategic. Corientes Avenue take you straight to the city centre to see the cathedral, pink house etc. You can walk to town 30 minutes or take a taxi or train. Hotel is next to Abasto shopping mall. You can do your shopping anytime as some shops close at 10 and others at 11pm. You can negotiate for late check out if you have a late flight. Highly recommend

This was our third time coming to this hotel. The first time we had an issue with the room and they fixed the problem. This time the floor was wet and we told them in the morning. When we got back from a city tour the problem got worse and got our clothes wet in the room. When I told them they moved us to a smaller room and with out a jetted tub. I told them and they moved us again but to the same size room and no jetted tub. Then they told me that they didn't have any rooms like the one we had before. The next day they moved us again, but it was a good size room but the closet was half the size and the jets for the tub didn't work. We are currently staying here but we are going to change to boca hotel. I love the area here, close to shopping but I was very disappointed this time. I gave them a 2 star because last time 2 times they were great.

I arrived at the airport August 25 in the PM. I had previously emailed with the hotel about a shuttle to pick me up (I was by myself). They said I had to call if I was at the airport. So I did. No one spoke English and they eventually hung up on me. Then I had someone who speaks Spanish call for me and a taxi pick up was arranged, however the taxi never showed up. I took a regular taxi and tried to ask what happened at the front desk at check in but no response. In short, this hotel is nice enough but the service is terrible. Probably mostly because nobody speaks English I would not come here again.

Older hotel with large and well appointed rooms. Excellent location by the shopping mall and lots to do in the vicinity. Breakfast is not fab and could be improved but the rest of the experience is great!

Great views of the city. Very centrally located, and perfect for the real Argentinian feel. Charming hotel with a great bar and restaurant. Free tango lessons were offered, which was awesome. Certainly the place to stay when you visit Buenos Aires.
