Had to stay at 248 Finisterra on a recent business trip. The hotel was lovely! The place was very clean, excellent staff and nice facilities. There is a nice garden in back as well as a out door spa/tub. Did not get to use it as it was a bit too cold but the space looked very quaint on a nice day. Plenty of places to eat around the neighborhood. The staff was amazing, always attentive and wanting to make sure your stay pleasurable.
It was my first time in this Lovely Boutique Hotel, but for sure not the last. From the guys in Front Desk (Martin and Salvatore) and the Ladies in the petit breakfast , you can fill very welcome. Rooms are clean and quiet (3 for example and 11 the must!!) All the area around Finisterra is plenty of nice restaurants and very safe. I strongly recommend this Hotel. Thank you guys!!
My husband and I spent just a night during our honeymoon. The room was very nice and big and surprise…with a Jacuzzi in the room. The room was clean and we rested very well. People in the hotel were nice. Just an inconvenience for breakfast: every table was dirty and nobody worried about that. Very nice terrace on the roof.
We stayed here for one night between flights. The location is great, near a large park and plenty of restaurants. The room was quiet and clean, but quite plain. No major complaints but note that there is no elevator (the staff was quite willing to help with suitcases) and breakfast is not included. I have to say that of the two places we stayed in BA, we preferred the Magnolia Boutique Hotel.
I stayed at this hotel on a fluke because I missed a connecting flight from the US to Ushuaia and had to stay the night in B.A. until the next flight, the next morning! I booked the hotel from the airport! I LOVE this hotel except for one thing, and unfortunately, it's huge. There was a loud machine running ALL night that literally sounded like a continuous car horn. It was horrible and earplugs didn't help at all. I was tired after flying for about 20 hours. I just wanted to sleep and couldn't very well at all. I asked the lady at the desk the next morning what the sound was and she said "it's a machine on top of the restaurant next door". I think I was in room 103? On the same side of the hotel as the check-in desk. Everything else was SO perfect, but this one thing would keep me from staying there again unless I could be guaranteed to be on the other side? If that's possible? The ladies at the desk were so friendly, they recommended the Campo restaurant, which was awesome, the room was great... But that noise!!!! Deal breaker. Wow
We spent ten days at 248 Finisterra and we absolutely loved it! The hotel is located on a very hip street full of trendy restaurants. Although It is not in downtown it has very easy and quick access by taxi or public transportation to all the tourist attractions. The rooms were spotless and very well mantained. The breakfast was delicious, with fruits, local fresh "medialunas" pasties, eggs, juices, etc. The staff was very attentive and always happy to help. If you are looking for a small boutique hotel in a hip neighborhood, you must go to this fine establishment.
Cannot speak highly enough of friendly and professional staff, Gerald and Vikki, who made me most welcome. Only stayed one night in transit from Dublin to Ushuaia, but would like to have stayed a week. Bedroom fine if a little noisy as it's directly out on the street. Very relaxing sn deck with jacuzzi and garden at the rear, an oasis of tranquillity. Location great with numerous quality restaurants on your doorstep.Palermo a lovely neighbourhood of old style Buenos Aires.
It seems that some architect worked hard (and successfully!) to create an agreeable ambiance. True, the rooms are rather small (Obut there is office space downstairs) and the old-fashioned keys are a challenge - but they are also quite charming! The space reserved for breakfast naturally transforms itself intoi a living room with books, magazines, fireplace and a TV which is not left on permanently. All sorts of little surprises which show the care in the décor make this small and quaint hotel a placewhich, besides being a very attractive hotel is in the midst of a series of good retaurants and less than 15 minuites away from Aeroparque (by taxi|), Sure it's convenient, but it is also nice. Something very important in making it nice is que staff's attitude: attentive, efficient, good humored and going out of their way to help you out in any difficulty.
What a lovely hotel in the heart of Las Cañitas neighborhood. This small three story building is tastefully decorated, mixing modern and Louis XVI furnishing. The garden and terrace, full of manicured fruit trees and plants are the perfect places to relax or read a book. We stayed for one night at the suite overlooking the inner garden and we loved it. The black out curtains allowed us to sleep in a complete dark. The continental breakfast we chose was fresh and tasty. The staff, including the owner who checked us out on a Sunday morning, were very friendly and affective. I really recommend this cozy, clean and well located hotel!
We stayed at the suite for one night, and we loved this little hotel! It is very cozy, staff (and the owner herself, who was there that morning) are very friendly and accomodating. All the advantages of a small hotel, cwith the cleanliness and style of a large one. Location is at the heart of trendy Las Cañitas neghborhood, with restaurants and bars all over the place. Very nearby also to Palermo, the other "it" place in Buenos Aires. Highly reccomend it!
