We stayed 2 nights with Ollie our dog and for what we needed it was OK. Clean, very tidy, large apartment. Good size open plan lounge/kitchen, large bathroom and good size bedroom. We had apartment 3 which had a balcony joined to another apartment no separation which was off putting as you did not feel secure with the doors open and a large group of contractors next door. The area including pubs seems to cater for mass contractors The view was very good and the back garden joined a lovely park for the 🐶. The main road is very busy at the front of the property but it's a short walk to a pub and takeaway also Budgeons supermarket I guess this is why there are so many contractors.
if you are looking for a budget priced GOOD hotel that is clean comfortable then you would not be disappointed with this hotel . the staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast was plentiful and well presented.
Stayed here whilst working away decent hotel Rooms were clean Comfy bed All round decent hotel The only bad points I would say are the rooms were very hot on a night which made it hard to sleep so could have been better if a fan was provided
Depending on your requirements. I was working away so comfy bed, power shower and toilet is what I needed. Rooms are clean and comfy slightly dated pieces of furniture in some rooms but generally warm clean and fresh.
We stayed for two nights. The room was clean and of a reasonable size but the shower area was miniscule. An odd mixture of three pillows in a twin room - one very solid, one reasonable and the third very thin and 'floppy' Outside there was a loose manhole cover and whenever a vehicle passed over this it resounded in our room. Parking was bit limited and access to it was often blocked by van type vehicles right in the entrance. Breakfast was adequate although it seemed strange to be served a cup of hot water and a Teabag in the UK - it is a situation we are more used to experiencing on the continent. There was only white bread toast, no wholemeal or fresh rolls, croissants etc Noisy folk in the room above affects our rating on the 'quiet' hotel.
Have already sent my review.said already,Room small ,up 2 flights of stars.Along narrow coridoors .No hanging space for long clothing.Breakfast ok,but exspensive.Parking is.iffy,as lot,s of builder,s stay there and have transit type van,s.noisy when they leave to go to work in the morning. Very nice friendly staff very helpful.Free WI FI...Tea & coffee making facility.Flat screen TV.,Shower ok.2 nights stay £ 79' Lounge and dining area comfortable.
Well, where do I start.. The room is very small and the ambiance is unsettling. There is a loose manhole cover near the car park that is constantly rattling. The area is tired and rough, fire alarms going off left right and centre and the Cleaners who barge in DAILY when you're trying to have a sleep in. Breakfast is reheated and bland. Tv is on a bad angle and doesn't suit the room.
Thought this was a lovely hotel. It had a good location on the main road, easy to find and within walking distance of town for something to eat. The room itself spotlessly clean, as was the rest of the hotel. The bed was really comfortable with just the right amount of bedding. The bathroom was bit small but it was perfectly functional and there was no side lamp, just the main light. Other than that, perfect. Would I stay there again? Yes I would.
I've stayed in a few places around High Wycombe and this is the one in most need of an update! Inside is clean, tidy and reasonably well kept. The building itself is a beautiful period building but it's been completely ruined by ugly dated ramps and frosted glass balcony. Could do with a face lift and a rebrand for more of a traditional countryside feel and some greenery out front wouldn't hurt either! At the moment it sticks out like a sore thumb from the rest of the street.
This is an odd place. The actual rooms are ok and just under the chain hotel basic standard. The bathroom was mouldy and grubby with rotting wood and shoddy workmanship. The bathroom has no heater so it was FREEZING cold while the main room is either boiling hot or cold. The car park gets full and it's a bit of a free for all with work vans pressed up against cars. We had to park on the road away from the hotel one night. The main body of the hotel is like one of those houses of multiple occupancy where DSS people live full time in washed up b&b's. I wonder if it is but I'm not 100% sure. The reception isn't always manned and there isn't an option for 'do not disturb'. The fridge in the room was useful. It was handy for work. But this isn't the place to come for a break. .
