Ramada Majestic Bucharest Hotel

The room on two levels (bedroom up) pretty interesting and cozy. Very relaxing and comfortable bed. But the services provided for the required price are very low. Very poor cleanliness of the room, poor minibar as well and not refilled (only by request), etc. Not even bell boy service provided. Stayed here for about 1 week, felt heisted to pay the accommodation in advance not at check out, and not always approached in a polite way. Not enough staff to provide up to standards services. Can be much better for a location in the heart of Bucharest which is not missing customers and tourists. Not up to expectations, not up to Ramada name or to what they promote themselves to be. Being located near the Old City Center makes it easy to access good bars and restaurants.

I had some questions between pictures I saw on the app I booked the hotel and what I saw. When this happens, I will then question everything I see. No water on my faucet, tired furniture, old school decor. But it's clean and my experience with staff was cordial.

I went to the hotel with my boyfriend, the reservation was done one his name for one person. When we entered the security person yelled at me to register,he did in it a very rude manner so I asked why so,he redirected me immediately to the reception where i was asked for the Id card. The reception guy also spoke very rude with me and kept my Id card saying i can take it when "I finish". I went to the room and my boyfriend went downstairs to get my ID card. They explained him that they thought I am a sex worker(only because he is a different nationality) they also promised to apologize for humiliating me when we check out.No one did so.Also the reception guy presented himself as "the manager" and did not want to let my boyfriend speak too a superior. WORST PLACE IN BUCHAREST!

The hotel is located just on the best position to visit the old city and many other attractions around. Large Pool and massage, 25 Lei (approx. 5,5 Euro) lunch !!!, nice terrace and good beer. I recommend this hotel

Checked in a few hours ago. Dirty room, reeks of stale cigarettes. Air-conditioning doesn't work well. Bathroom was dirty. Safe deposit box is broken. They refused to give me another room. The Location is good, and if you get w gift horse, don't check its teeth

The hotel is located in the city centre, from a 5-minute walk from the nearest metro station. "Lipscani" can be easily accessed owing to the fact that the hotel is right on the Main Street of Bucharest. The room is quite comfortable, adequate for an average hotel. The breakfast is excellent, although the service could be better. As far as the staff at the reception is concerned, they are ready to help you any minute. It is worth calling a taxi from the hotel, because it is cheaper and more reliable. However, from my personal opinion, due to the fact that mainly in the morning hours the traffic in the capital is horrible, people who have the chance should definitely take the metro instead. In a nutshell, we had a pleasant stay in the hotel, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone who would like to visit Bucharest, be that a tourist or a businessman.

Brand ramada disappointed our family of 10 who stayed there for 3 nights from 25th to 28th april 2017, it is more like a business hotel, very small rooms and smaller bathrooms where no toiletries were provided, some rooms were like service apts, where the bathroom was downstairs and the bed on the mezzanine, which was very stuffy and inconvinent.Breakfast was ok, vegetarians like us had very limited choice. The first cup of cappuccino coffee was complimentary, but if we asked for a second cup, it was chargeable, which was unfair as we had very limited veg choice to choose from. The staff was also very stiff and not at all friendly.. We chose this hotel which is located in downtown, and easily accessible to the malls and the shopping streets.None of us enjoyed our stay here.

We had been in this hotel for 6 nights in suite 521, in April 2017. Primarily we booked a room through a local agency and payed it about one month before our arrival. When we arrived, we realized that the room is quite small and, since we intended to stay here for several days, we asked for an upgrading to a suite. We had been charged with 120 Euro extra. With the intervention of the local agency they promised us to be charged only with 90 euro. Promises, promises…. They never believe that promises should be kept. We had been charged with all the sum. Now about the hotel itself: a very well situated hotel in the middle of Bucharest. Couldn't be better location. But that all folks. All the rest – you get an old, tired hotel with tired staff, poor maintenance and a mediocre breakfast. As a 4* hotel, you have better choices in the vicinity.

I was staying at Ramada Majestic for 4 nights when attending a conference in Bucharest. After reading some of the reviews here, I was really worried of what I will find. It turned out to be a much better hotel than I had expected. - Location is the BEST in town. It's close to everything. - Staff is extremely friendly and nothing was too much for them. - The hotel itself is a bit dated and yes, it could use a facelift. But the rooms and the bathrooms are spacious and have everything you need. The bed was comfortable too. - Breakfast is plentiful and very varied. All kinds of bread, cheeses, meat, but also 3-4 kinds of eggs, etc. Lots of fruit, also yoghurt. Coffee, tea, juice... - There is a nice swimming pool/sauna/fitness area. Not sure what the deal with the bathrobes is, so ask at the reception. The pool was warm. - Noise from the street wasn't an issue when the window was closed. - There are plenty of toiletries and slippers were provided as well. - Wi-Fi was good and worked in all areas. - Noise isolation is pretty good, so not much disturbance from the other rooms. - There are coffee/tea making facilities in every room. Complimentary water bottle was provided. There is a minibar and there is a bar/restaurant in the hotel as well. Some points that could be improved: - The blanket was quite short and I'm not even that tall. - My room was just next to the elevator and so I would hear 'ping' every time the lift arrived. It's a bit disturbing, and I couldn't understand why they wouldn't use the other rooms first, since the hotel was not full. I didn't ask to switch though as it didn't bother me that much. - Whirlpool water temperature was really cold (for a jacuzzi). Luckily, the pool was nice and warm.

Many thanks, I had a very pleasant 2 night stay. Friendly staff, decent food and a comfortable room. Very handy for the old town and museums. I would be happy to stay here again I I the future. I'm happy the recommend.
