High quality hotel, good location, great services. The rooms are very confortable, the reception service prompt and helpfull. Restaurant with quality services with child-friendly attitude. Great location for a conference.
Stayed here for 2 nights for a business trip. The hotel was very good and the bed was really comfortable. The rooms was nice size and had the basic thing you expect for this kind of hotel. There are 2 complimentary bottles of water, which was really nice as I arrived after midnight the first day. The air conditioner is a bit loud, but luckily i had no need for it at night as it was still cool enough, Breakfast also very good, more then enough choices and very good coffee.
Although this hotel is a little bit outside of the centre (15 minute taxi ride) it really is a little gem! Clean, modern (they even have speakers in the bathroom so you can still hear the television!), spacious rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was good, as were the gym and spa facilities. Would definitely recommend :)
the hotel is located out of the center of the city but you can rich the center by taxi or by bus.- I was there for a convention: the accomodation were very good and the staff was friendly.- The spa and gym fantastic.- The breakfast very good and all the gastronomic facilities were very good.- I hardly recommend this place if you visit Bucharest
It is a little bit on the outskirts of Bucharest, but very close to Parc&Lacul Herastrau. We stayed in a superior room(club) which was really spacious, quiet and had a nice view. The staff is very helpful and we had no major troubles during our stay. There are a variety of options on the open buffet breakfast and the food is really tasty. It is not a very luxurious hotel but then it is only a 4-star one. Our room was renovated and the interior was very comfortable. If you want to go to the old city center and maybe visit the parliment building, beware of the taxi drivers. The ones from the Hotel would turn on the taxi-meter but the ones from the city center try to charge you 3-4 times the real price and you would have a difficult time convincing them to turn on the meter if you can suceed at all. We paid 15 Lei from the Hotel to the old town but could only bargain for 35 lei back to the Hotel from the same spot. And all this happened between 10-16 pm. But then of course this is not a complaint about the Hotel, only a warning for the ones visiting Bucharest.... We did not have the time to use the spa and the pool so we cannot comment on these amenities. We would advise you to visit Herastrau Parc and take a stroll around the lake which is a walking distance from the Hotel.
I have stayed in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Bucharest on various occasions and they continue to remain one of the top hotels in Europe. From the moment you arrive at their hotel your comfort becomes their priority. Checking in is always quick, efficient and professional, but above all friendly. The staff are immaculate in every way. The hotel itself is an impressive and spotless building, the rooms large and extremely comfortable, the bar warm and welcoming, the restaurant spacious and with a great breakfast, and the staff really are the very best you will see in Bucharest, if not România. I cannot over exaggerate this hotel. It is one of the best hotels I have had the pleasure to stay in and recommend to anybody visiting Bucharest.
Its a bit outside the city centre but a good hotel with friendly staff and good meeting facilities. The new Spa is a great addition with lovely staff (Nic and Gabriella) who are very welcoming. Its not top of the range but a very nice place to stay. I would stay again.
The staff at this hotel are very welcoming, in the bar area they could do with more then one, the lady serving wouldnt let people order at the bar and insisted on coming to the tables. Which on paper is a nice idea but when there is only one leads to a bit of a waiting time. The rooms are fine, possbly could do with a refurb but they are adequet to stay in. Unfortunately I was not able to use the new fitness facilities due to time. Very confusing that BBC News was not available.
I think the hotel is great .Nice friendly staff that answers all you questions even silly ones. The stay was pleasant, the room was comfy and pleasant to stay. The hotel needs renovation, but for twi nught it's a great place to stay.
I stayed in the Crowne Plaza in Bucharest for just one night, I requested a standard twin room which was very roomy with two double beds, the room was clean and well furnished. Breakfast was extra but offered a good selection of cooked and cold food. There is no currency exchange at the hotel but the receptionist was very helpful and changed some currency for me from his own pocket. There is a swimming pool and a gift shop within the hotel. If the weather permits, I would suggest sitting outside in the garden bit for breakfast. Overall a good experience
