Owner was very prompt in responding to questions. Comfortable beds and the hot tub was great. Very quiet and private. My subaru had no trouble accessing the property.
Not my best experience. Overnight stay. Jacuzzi was a must but did not get to use.
House wasn't ready to check-in. It was not clean. The Jacuzzi was not cleaned. The kitchen was disappointing. Not able to use cookware due to metal flakes, peeling off the pans. Owner was quick to respond to our needs with an apology, but nothing fixed. Great view.
We were looking for something away from the crowds and town and this was perfect. The house was spacious, clean and sucked with what we needed. Exactly as the description states and more. Anu was very responsive to my questions and made sure we had everything we needed including downloading the info since there is no phone signal. The wifi was great though. We requested a couple things be refilled and they were delivered within hours while we were out exploring. The house having 3 levels were great for our kids to each have their own space and we could all gather in the livingroom area together too. It was a short drive to Smoky mountain trails and scenic 90 min drive through the park to Pigeon Forge Gatlinburg area. There was near views from the deck and along the drive to the property.
Very nice house, kids loved it. ages 9,8,6 They liked playing fuseball and the hot tub. Easy to use hot tub.
Everything was spotless when we checked in.
Anu is a very responsive host, messages all answered quickly
5 miles winding road to driveway takes about 10 minutes to drive it, but it is a good full 2 lane road. Driveway is steep for about 200 ft but any car can make it up.
Sufficient parking for 3 cars including parking by the front door.
All 3 bedrooms and fold out coach were used and a/c was fine.
House has an excellent washer/dryer.
The purpose of our trip was primarily to visit the Cherokee Indian Village in Cherokee NC. It is an unique learning experience for the kids. I took my kids 30 years ago, my older grandkids 10 years ago and now the younger 3. I learn more about native indian culture every time we go.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
Nice location Disappointing Kitchenware
We came for a brief weekend visit to see the Smokies. Most of the cookware provided was in poor condition—rusted, peeling, and completely unusable without risking rust in our food. I was able to find one pot that was sufficient to cook in. This was especially frustrating as we planned to cook most of our meals. Additionally, while the listing advertises a grill, we were surprised to find that guests must provide propane, which was not mentioned when booking only in the instructions for check-in. At this point, we were past the cancelation window. All three rooms are on different levels of the house which might be challenging if you are traveling with kids. The basement portion was a mixed bag. While the bedroom was nicely furnished and cozy, the rest of the space was an unfinished basement and was very cold (traveling in winter) It wasn’t what we expected based on the listing. There was a hot tub listed as an amenity with no clear instructions for its use. We were unable to get the pump to power on and heat up to a desirable temperature. We found the house to be visibly unclean as well as feel unclean. The pull out sofa in the living room was strewn with candy wrappers and other trash when we opened it to make the bed.On a positive note, the location was pretty, and the host was responsive. However, we’d strongly recommend improvements to the cookware and clearer communication about the amenities to ensure a better experience for future guests.
