The property was nice (clean, plenty of room, as advertised) and location was good for a variety of uses. It was about 1.5 miles to campus, which is not a bad walk. I could not give them a 5 star for one reason: the way this was advertised when we booked it. I think they have adjusted the description since we booked, but there are still some details to pay attention to.In the first paragraph of "About this Property" - it talks about how this is a great property for events: weddings, ring dunks, etc. When we booked, I did not realize there was a note deep in the description (now it is bullet point #15 under Policies) saying there could be a fee for events. I am not arguing the fee itself - I just don't want to have to hunt for the potential of another 250 or more charge. All of the other costs are right up front. I think that could be advertised right next to "This is great for events and ** by the way....there is an event fee." Be sure to read the fine print and ask questions before you book. The booking agent was easy and responsive to my questions- this is just the first VRBO I have ever booked that charged a fee like this. My fault for not reading every word in the VRBO post (and by the way, I paid the fee without any complaint). Conclusion: I just did not like the fact that the fee seemed a bit hard to find, so I had to go with less than a 5 star. Otherwise, nice property and nice people.
