Probably the best hotel we ever stayed in and we are travelling a lot! Superb facility and such a welcoming and helpful staff throughout the hotel. Would definitely stay in this hotel again if ever back to Brussels! The breakfast is fab with a smoothy on the entry to the restaurant and fresh orange juice and top quality coffee! Small little gestures and luxury room made our stay even more special especially as we got engaged on our first day of arrival! Compliments to the management of the hotel! Thomas Slattery and Elena

Comparing to many hotels near the EU buildings this one has a rather simple and modern style. Because of the cold lights it felt almost like a hospital. Having nicer curtains would have changed a lot. My room was rather small but had all the normal furnishings including safe box and a good chair. It was also a nice surprise to find an umbrella in the room although I didn't need it this time. Check-in was efficient and they even had apples on the reception desk - good to have some healthy snacks when arriving in the evening after the nearby shops had closed. The breakfast buffet was good and I especially liked the fresh orange juice.

The room was nice and clean, they had a coffee/tea make which I love because who doesn't love tea? I love that I could put whatever was on my tablet to my tv screen (yay technology) a place to burn some calories and a restaurant with tasty food.

Nice hotel in the European quarter / finance district. Staff friendly and welcoming . Near local metro which u can catch to centre. Christmas markets were nice . Food and drink was reasonable in Brussels

I stay on a regular basis in this hotel because facility has an excellent location, room is equipped with table suitable for business purposes and it has a bar with excellent collection of spirits and great bar tenders

This hotel is well located for access to EC offices and for shopping and restaurants in central Brussels. Best thing is definitely the breakfast. Great selection for a variety of different diets. My room was okay but not great and was boiling hot despite having the window open all day. The staff at reception were quite rude and unhelpful.

It's all about the location. Close to charlemange and the European parliament. But very lonely with deserted Streets around. Few restaurants around, but their own on the bottom floor was great. I had a perfect cesar salad with seafood. And their breakfast must be one of the best I have had for a very long time. Could have stayed there for hours. Reception swift and friendly. My room was good, nice clean sober. The floor was covered with some plastic fibre, not so cosy but probably very durable. Interior design was strict and clean. Not romantic at all. Bed was hard with big hard pillows that forced my neck in 90 degrees and headache next day. No electric sockets for charger nor USB chargers either. Don't they know what's going on nowadays with cellphones an pads? The wifi was extremely slow in. The evening. 0500 in the morning I could download my news paper but it took 10 minutes. Normally it's done in 10-20 seconds.

At rack rate the hotel is quite poor value for money, however it is in the business district so the weekend rates or rates in summer available on hotel booking sites can make it as cheap as a budget hotel in Brussels when it is only 3 metro stops from the Grand Place. If you can get the hotel for 70-80 a night then its good value. Thon is a Norwegian business hotel chain which inexplicably have three hotels in Brussels. It seems to suffer a bit from a lack or management attention from head office as everything isn't quite as sharp as it should be for the price in my opinion. I stay in this one as its very convenient for where I need to go when I'm in Brussels. Tip: One side of the hotel faces the busy four lane highway that takes most traffic into central Brussels; insist on a quiet room facing the inside courtyard or a high floor. If you want to avoid paying the extortionate EUR 30 for breakfast there are Exki's that open at 7.00 am within a 5 minute walk of the hotel +ves Location - entrance is 15m from the Maelbeek metro station entrance, 15 minutes to the EU Parliament and 30 minutes stroll downhill to the Grand Place Breakfast has a waffle machine and a pancake machine to play with, however the cooked breakfast is pretty poor. Each room has a Nespresso machine and capsules. Each room always has an ironing board and an iron like a business hotel should do. Rooms are clean although some are showing signs of wear and tear. -ves Some rooms face a busy multi-lane express way into Brussels, see above. Internet reception is very patchy in some rooms. The hotel restaurant inexplicably has a high tripadvisor rating. In reality its overpriced (especially for drinks) and eating there is about as much fun as a steaming hot chocolate enema. There are however lots of much better restaurants across a wide variety of price points 10 minutes walk to the north east behind the Berlaymont building and south in Place Luxembourg

Perfect hotel you can stay there for a few days in Brussels, the Club Room (i stayed) is very comfortable for 3 people, there is 1 big bed and 1 sofa-bed. Good treatment of the personal, in english, spanish. You can go by car because they have a place for it. The breakfast was fantastic, you can choose between a lot of things. You have 2 lines of subway so it is easy to move. I strongly recommend it.

Great location in the heart of the European Quarter, this well turned out hotel is right next to the metro station, and short walk from the EU commission. Very modern, with clean presentation, well thought out. Room was ample, bathroom was very nice. Cannot fault the food, superb, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Staying on my own, the staff were always happy to chat and help out. The hotel has an environmental side with rewards for green behaviour. I would have given the hotel 5 stars if it wasn’t for one criticism: the bed was not very comfortable and I came home craving my own bed. However the overall experience was great. Not come across this Norwegian chain before, and was impressed. Please open a hotel in the UK!
