Beautiful and lovely Hotel. Well equipped, quiet and cozy bedrooms. Super comfortable and soft bedding. The internet works perfectly well. There is an Nespresso machine in the room with 6 free Nespresso capsules, nice choices of teas and herbal teas, 4 small bottles of water… Slippers, bath robe & all the necessary toiletries (cotton swab, toothbrush, shower cap…). Everything was perfect except for the rotten blackberries at the bottom of the fridge. It's very subjective but I didn't like the Hermes products. Too much perfume and therefore not ideal at all for sensitive skins like mine. The roof top terrace is just great. Unfortunately the Hamman was not working properly (not enough steam) as well as the shampoo and soap pumps. The showers had inconsistent water temperature. I had to wait 5 minutes to get hot water but then it was too hot so I just left... The breakfast was nice but nothing like the Sofitel in Amsterdam (where it was just amazing)… The fresh fruit juices were diluted with water and sugar. We arrived at 10h30 and although we still had 30 minutes left, the kitchen told us it was too late for the pancakes, waffles, sugar pie… The staff is welcoming and professional. It’s a shame that the Italian girl at the bar was so rude and sarcastic. Everyone else was very polite and helpful. We arrived on Saturday afternoon and we parked the car on the parking lot just in front of the hotel. What an unpleasant surprise the next morning when we realized that the car was gone ! There is a market twice a month on Sundays and as nobody warned us the car got towed ! It was written in the lift but we saw it only when it was too late. The staff could have warned us. Furthermore, it was a special day in Brussels: “Sunday without cars”. We had a late check out but we spent the entire morning and afternoon getting the car back, doing everything by foot (police, pound to get the car papers, police again & back to the pound with our luggage’s…). This relaxing weekend turned quite bad and got very expensive.

I stayed there with my wife for an improvised night and it was a great experience with a clean room, a comfortable bed and a taste of quiet and luxury. The breakfast had a lot of choice with healthy options and the smoothies were delicious!

My Spouse and I stayed here for 2 nights as the last part of our Trafalgar trip. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. We have stayed in many European hotels but this hotel is #1 in our stays. The bedding was very comfortable. Slippers and bath robe a very nice touch. And to our surprise a shower with a full shower door to close. If you have traveled Europe then you know what I mean. Lots of towels and soaps. Breakfast was excellent with everything and more that you could imagine. Restaurants, bars and even a grocery store just outside the door. I don't know if the location is convenient for visits to the city center because our tour was escorted. If you are planning a trip to Brussels stay here. You will not be disappointed.

This was the perfect end to our amazing weekend in Belgium. The beds are AMAZING like clouds, this is the best sleep you will ever have. this hotel is the nicest, fanciest hotel I have ever stayed in, the staff are so polite & helpful. The room was lovely, there is a gorgeous roof top seating area, lovely on a morning especially if the sun is out. Breakfast has a good variety, everything you could imagine wanting for breakfast. This hotel is not central, it is a 30 min walk from the main station (central) there is a metro station about a 5-10 min walk away. lovely stay, would definitely come back.

The hotel is close to the schuman square. Those who travel for business that has to do with European institutions will find the location very convenient. The staff is polite, the rooms are clean and the environment very cosy.

We stayed here as part of a group tour and had a triple room booked. On arrival at the hotel we were given a room (321)that was suitable for 2 people, but certainly not 3. We went back to reception only to be told that we would have the other bed at the base of the twin beds in the walk space between the bed bases the wall that had the tv attached. This would mean that there was no walking space in the room except for 1 side of the twin beds and certainly no space for luggage. We were told our tour group only paid for the small rooms which is something that should not be spoken about to guests. We went back to the room to wait for the extra bed to be placed in the room & a reception staff member called to say we had been moved to a slightly larger room (622). This should have been offered in the first place as the first room was clearly going to be far too small for 3 beds. The slightly bigger room was still quite snug but at least we didn't have to climb over beds. A large chair should have been removed from the room when the extra bed was place in the room as this would have given us a little more space. The desk chair could not be used as the extra bed was too close. The hotel itself was in a nice area and a 15-20 walk to the Palace. There were lots of restaurants outside and a small supermarket as well. The hotel was modern, clean and the breakfast was very good. I feel the hotel should be more sympathetic to people who have booked triple rooms as we had, but at the time we were treated quite harshly after our initial complaint. I am not sure why the reception decided to change our room, but we did have fellow travellers in the slightly larger rooms and they were only double occupancy. This seemed to be a contradiction to the fact that our tour group had only paid for the smaller rooms. I have reviewed that hotel as average because of this incident. Please consider you guests and give consideration if there is a 3rd adult. Climbing over beds could be fun in a camping situation for children but certainly not for elderly adults.

Large, modern urban hotel. Very comfortable rooms, great bathroom facilities, all the amenities are here. Staff us helpful and pleasant. Located on a small town square with many moderate restaurants just a step outside.

I'm glad I had booked whole day tours for the 2 days they scheduled water maintenance (no water from 10AM to 5PM). The breakfast was included which is pretty good to start the day for long travels. I'm also glad that Neuhaus is right here in the hotel, I didn't have to go in line in The Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert.

I stayed with my boyfriend here in one of the suite rooms. It was absolutely perfect. The hotel is beautiful throughout. The rooms are comfortable with amazing bathrooms and powerful showers plus Hermes shower gels and shampoos. The bed is extremely comfortable. The location is really good with only a 15 minute walk to the centre of Brussels. I really enjoyed my stay here- very comfortable and luxurious. Thank you

Great hotel that lives up to its standard, as advertised. A very pleasant stay for 3 days. There were a few glitches but the hotel managed them. Only complaint would be that it was difficult to get a full meal after 11 p.m. Room service had a very limited range and even then the pizza option didn't have all the choices (only the very simple ones). Front Desk manager recommended, when the employee ask his manager, to go downtown (not really an option at 11:30 p.m.!!) The restaurants (and there are many) out side the front door were also all closed by 11 p.m. Despite this, the location is a nice "step away" from the bustling historic city centre and makes for a pleasant return home. When I did dine in the hotel the food was great and service excellent! Room service other than the late night menu limitations, was great. Especially found the young woman at check-in (a Laurie, I think) just great; perfect for my arrival and settling in. The "library" room for guests is a BIG plus and reminds one of the grand old days when hotels had a reading and writing room for their guests. I'd suggest this Sofitel over the other hotel they have in the city which is on a high-end shopping street. This one is on a more "lived" street. AND best of all is the hotel's roof-top terrace for guests!!
