We stayed at the Empire for a week and enjoyed every minute of it. The facilities are superb but their competitive advantage is their staff - extremely friendly and always ready to help and assist. In particular, Ms. Teti who was an amazing person always ready to advise and support and her excellent recommendations made our trip that much more special.

I like the hotel but do not like the food here, it serves Muslim food that our Vietnamese people do not like. Hotel is clean, with good view of the National stadium nearby. Brunei do not sell alcohol due to their religion so if you want to have beer or wine , please expect other place

So comfortable and relaxing. Staff fantastic. Facilities beautiful. Outdoor pools amazing. Food was delicious. I was working as a maternity nurse looking after a 6mth old. Organised a lovely cot etc for him, usually I get some crappy dirty one. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was amazing. Also the view, breathtaking.

Popped in for lunch lovely food and service at the pool bar. Great, I want to stay here. This place is enormous fantastic design loads of space and facilities. It has its own private beach looked nice and clean.

Stayed with my father and brother a few weeks back, in Brunei for some golf and to reconnect with old friends. Unfortunately we weren't able to play the Empire course, which is considered the best in the country (there was a pro event that weekend), but we spent a couple of days enjoying the facilities (huge pool and gym, an on-site cinema!) which are great. The amount of green space they have is striking and a welcome respite from the claustrophobia of city life. We had a fairly big issue with a botched pick-up but my enduring memory is not of disorganisation but of how warm the staff are here--without exception. They couldn't have been more gracious and keen to make us feel better. They are the best part of this hotel.

Ostentatious. Huge. Trying to impress. The food for dinner was mediocre. Breakfast was great. The check in was slow. Transportation to the rooms and bag handling were terrible for such a high end place. We took out own bags to the room. Great views. But all around silly.

Complex is built to accommodate and host about 10 times more people in the future as Brunei is still building up as future luxury tourist destination. Meaning whole complex as luxurious is it can get, for very reasonable price tag and with minimum other people around. And sunset there is absolutely gorgeous

Very grand building and impressive lobby. Lovely pools overlooking the sea. Great room and bathroom. Golf course and walking from the hotel through the rainforest was good to explore from the hotel. Food could be improved, restaurants very quiet in the evening.

We did not stay there..and we were taken for a stop for a photostop by our Guide. And I think this must be only a HOTEL in world for tourists' total view. We had pot of coffee and cakes....cost was not threatening compared to its Star structure. 162 acres in lush tropical gardens, at the foot step of South China Sea..with a mind boggling internal structure, well it must have been the Sultan's previous home. True. It is the former palace of Prince Jafri. Even if you can't afford to stay...my friends...enjoy the hospitality.

Enjoyed our stay in Feb’18 a lot! The rooms are large with Nice balconies and great bathrooms. We liked our dinner at Spaghettini. Most enjoyed the next day at the kids pool and on the lagoon in kayak and on SUP board. The breakfast is YUM!
