We arrived for a five night stay on our 13th Wedding anniversary and on first impression you could see straight away that ample parking was provided to cater for all eight bedrooms. We had a warm welcome from Sue on arrival and soon settled into our large double bedroom with ensuite. The room was lovely and provided everything a well seasoned traveller could expect.I will say that the morning breakfasts provided were of excellent quality cooked by Gareth and the large breakfast room was very cosy especially as we mixed with other guests. This farmhouse provides a perfect base for travelling over the Cotswolds and five minutes down the road is Broadway a picture postcard cotswold village providing many pubs & tearooms even a very decent sit down fish & chip shop. For chocoholics try the Cotswold chocolate shop.Going back to lowerfield farm you will your hosts Sue & Gareth to be the most warm, genuine and welcoming couple you could ever wish to meet we loved every minute of our stay. Finally check out the Bell inn in Willersey you will be pleasantly surprised.

We stayed here recently with friends and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Gareth and Sue are the perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome in their beautiful home. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and had a table and chairs by the window looking out over the front garden and views of the rolling countryside, idyllic. There was also a lovely large shower and everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were delicious and there was plenty of choice and more than enough to set you up for the day. We would highly recommend this B&B and will definitely be back next year. Many thanks to Gareth and Sue.

A fantastic, peaceful location. We had a warm welcome. Our ground floor room was spacious with a lovely view over the garden. The ensuite was also a good size with a great shower. We had to ask the owner to change my mattress as it was very soft. My Dad stayed in a double room upstairs and he also mentioned that his mattress was very soft. The breakfasts at Lowerfield were delicious, the best we have ever tasted!

We came to this delightful B&B with friends to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. We couldn't have chosen anything better. our hosts, Gareth and Sue, were charming and so very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were excellent, using locally sourced products, some from their own smallholding. Most of the large selection of preserves were home made and the home made bread was lovely. There is a good choice for breakfast, anything from the full English to muffins or bagels with toppings, and anything else in between. Our friends were in Dingle bedroom which was large and comfortable with a really big bed, and we were in the feature room called Milkup with a four poster bed. As they say in their description it is not their largest room but it certainly has character being in the oldest part of the house. The floors slope and the bathroom has beams - all adds to the character. Despite being smaller than some it still has enough space, you don't feel cramped and all the amenities are there as in all the rooms. The bed was very comfortable and my 6'4" husband fitted into it with ease. The downstairs residents lounge is nicely appointed with comfortable armchairs and a couch, and has a well stocked honesty bar. Outside there is more than ample parking onsite and also nice garden furniture you can use to relax in. Willersey village is a mile up the road and we walked there each night to eat at The Bell Inn which we found to be very good. The food was excellent. If you do decide to walk take a torch for coming back as there is no street lighting in the lane. There is a bus service from the village to Broadway but the timetable is a bit irregular so read it carefully! We have no hesitation in recommending this B&B.

My dear Mum purchased a stay here for my family as a Christmas present, we immediately booked for August and couldn't wait! A couple of days before arrival we decided to try and extend from two nights to three and Sue happily obliged. Everything you will read in all the reviews you are reading is true. Sue and Gareth have, evidently, perfected the art of B&B. Your room will be perfect, cosy, comfortable, clean and spacious. Their attention to detail is second to none. Your food will not disappoint, guaranteed! They raise pigs, sheep and hens as well as honey bees, they grow and use whatever fruit or vegetable is in season, your plate will certainly reflect this, I'm not certain, but I think Gareth is the cook, and he's brilliant! There is a superb breakfast choice available, it's more like dining in a restaurant than a B&B, Sue exudes patience, understanding, caring and accommodation hosting in the beautifully remodelled dining area. That's the B&B part reviewed, as for the rest, a very comfy lounge tv area with plenty of books, dvds and local information. A very welcome honour bar is stashed with an excellent choice of beers, cider, wines, spirits, mixers, soft drinks and snacks. A large communal fridge/freezer with fresh milk and jugs, fresh water, ice etc. is upstairs. Find their fairly new, beautiful dog, he's wonderful. Go see the pigs, chickens and sheep and enjoy a drink outside, with a perfect view. Sue and Gareth provide a brilliant guide for touring the beautiful Cotswolds, I FULLY recommend, Broadway, Chipping Camden, Moreton in Marsh, Stow, Bourton on the Water (walk there from Upper and Lower Slaughter, idyllic.) We left Lowerfield feeling like we were part of Sue and Gareth's extended family, it's simply that simple, a huge thanks to them for making our visit truly wonderful.

Enjoyed a fantastic weekend in this charming B and B. The room we stayed in was very comfortable. Sue and Gareth were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast were absolutely delicious.

This lovely house is in a perfect position for enjoying all the Cotswolds have to offer. The hosts were very welcoming and the food and facilities were all excellent. The local village with its friendly pubs is a level easy walk away -but remember to take your torch for the walk back !

Just returned from a lovely two night stay in this wonderful B and B. Sue and Gareth are brilliant hosts. The property, the room, the breakfast and facilities all say quality and class. So peaceful, but so well placed also to easily visit surrounding towns and attractions. A real gem and a credit to the owners. Jim and Tracy.

We had a two night stay at this lovely B&B; Sue and Gareth were extremely welcoming, the perfect hosts! Our room was clean and comfortable and all the facilities were great. Sue recommended some places to visit during our stay, in particular Batsford Arboretum which is definitely worth a visit. Breakfast was extremely tasty on both mornings! For a visit to the Cotswolds, Lowerfield Farm is ideally located, plus its in a beautiful setting! Would definitely recommend.

Great hospitality, excellent accommodation, breakfast was lovely with home made marmalade and bread as well as usual cooked food. We were given a suggested route for our days exploration typed out in great detail and it was perfect! That’s the kind of help we needed.
