The room was beautiful, very clean and well furnished. However, the walls are very thin and we could hear the neighbours on both sides; they might as well have been in the room with us when they got up at 3am and 4am to catch flights and walked around on the laminate wood floors in their shoes whilst talking on their phones. We heard EVERYTHING. I was also put off by the lady wanting to clean the room at 9.15 (despite last check out being at 10.30), who looked in through the patio window whilst I was still dressing. I felt obliged to check out early as I felt she was waiting for me to leave. This would be an excellent place to stay if you have an early flight, not so good for a break or relaxing stay.

Stayed for two nights while visiting the area. Couldn’t fault the room and probably fine if you’re going to get breakfast at the airport otherwise breakfast was very disappointing. It could have been a little more imaginative than 2 bottles of juice - 1 apple, 1 orange, a cereal bar and a wrapped chocolate bun! The room was very clean and warm on a wet and chilly weekend. It was well decorated and, apart from the breakfast, had all that you’d want. There is clearly a market for this type of “no frills” accommodation but it’s not a place to stay for a couple of nights if you like breakfast.

Used for one night to catch early flight from Bristol. Booking easy. Excellent follow up information re directions to its semi -rural location and accessing / vacating the room. Quiet location about 3 minutes drive from airport. Well equipped, modern, comfortable room that seemed recently renovated or converted. Tea making facilities and in room information about nearby eateries or food delivery options if needed. Plenty of car parking space right by the room.

We stopped for 1 night due to a late flight arrival the self catering accommodation is good. Thankfully we arrived at the property during daylight hours the signpost for Hillcroft is not very good and the road approaching it is very busy so you need your wits about you. Later we went for a meal at the Plough @Wrington it was dark and foggy going back and all most impossible to see the turning into Hillcroft a bigger sign and it light up would be good. We would certainly use Hillcroft again but it would have been nice to have been greeted by someone.

Take earplugs as you can hear your neighbours. There are only thin partition walls, so we could hear talking, light switches, etc. Our neighbours seemed to be up frequently during the night, so not much sleep for us. We didn't see any staff - they just put your name on the door and leave your door open. Positives - nice modern décor, warm and clean, comfy beds, we had a patio outside the back door, parking was convenient. We didn't hear any noise from the airport despite being only 5 minutes away. There is no cooked breakfast, they just leave some rolls and cereal bars in your room, I don't think the price reflects the lack of cooked breakfast. But if you have an early flight, then that would be convenient. We booked this as a break away, convenient for Bristol, we liked the room itself, but think it's just for airport stop over's really. I wouldn't book again due to the sleep deprivation.

Stayed here on a stopover for an early flight from Bristol. Pleased with the standard of the rooms, they were clean, tidy and comfortable. The only off putting thing was that the car parking areas were very busy. I ended up just parking outside my room as the road was wide enough to let cars through.

This is such a difficult place to review. 5* in terms of cleanliness and comfort. Ideal for an overnight stay if flying out of Bristol or returning late at night. No check in/out procedure, a trifle disconcerting, but okay. The walk to supper at the Darlington Arms (see separate review) 10 mins away down a busy and dark A38, took a taxi back @ £10.00. Slept very well and up in time to make flight. Room small but well equipped. Adequate biscuits/juice provided for breakfast. I have stayed in worse places. It's good and cheap £58 for a night, Totally on the button for a night

Wonderful small accomodation close to Bristol airport. Perfect for a late or early flight. Everything so clean, nice, modern, big and well decorated rooms. Lovely complimentary small breakfast. Clean bathroom. Perfect for families. Easy check in and out.

Stayed here overnight. Room was new neat and comfortable. Fitted out in a country feel including a nice soft bed. The modern bathroom was very clean and warm. The only draw back was the room size. No where to open my suitcase and leave it open, let alone for a couple. The staff were helpful when needed.

The rooms are very clean & tidy & the site is well managed. Plenty of tea & coffee & snacks left in the room. Highly recommended for those using Bristol Airport - it's less than a 5 minute drive away. No one to check you in or out, but that made everything even easier.
