This hotel is super outdated, not as clean as far as a 5 star hotel should be, and the staff are just blah. Also at check out, the staff threw a bill at us asking to pay for breakfast when we selected the room that came with breakfast. Wifis not free kinda annoying but 10 bucks a day it's doable but definately recommend another boutique hotel.

Great service and location, near all. Spaciious rooms and bathroom, flat screen TV, in room safe, fridge, and great fitness center and pool on the 16th floor.

We stayed at approximately 10 different hotels in Australia and this is the only negative experience we had. The rooms were average overall, the bathroom having a somewhat eerie, outdated feel to it. Upon check-out, the receptionist asked me, "Checking out? The whole lot of you in that one room?" I replied ,somewhat bewildered, that, yes, we were checking out. She continued badgering me and said, "Those two Chinese men weren't with you (stressing the word Chinese in a negative manner)? The ones who just came down the lift? The whole lot of you stayed in that room last night?" She continued for a bit and I finally came to understand what she was inferring. At this point, I looked her in the eye and simply said, "No.", sternly, as I had no idea who the men were, even if I was indeed Chinese. She finally said, "Alright, alright!" as if to ty to pacify me. She did not apologize to me, nor did she thank me for my stay. If I were not in a rush to catch a flight, I would have brought it up to management. This is not an exaggeration of the truth and I, as a guest, felt that I was treated in a racist manner. I must say, as a disclaimer, that during our entire trip, we did not have to endure any poor treatment based on our ethnicity, with the exception of this property. The people we encountered in Australia were very friendly and extremely accommodating. It is a great place to visit!
