Nice clean rooms and friendly, courteous staff On the down side, no room service, no gym or pool and no onsite parking so not suited really to busy business trip. Connected restaurant was ok but avoid the “rib eye” which was a tiny thin sizzle steak for $30+ Would better suit people wanting to party, plenty of night-life ( read strip clubs) and bars everywhere including on the roof
Stayed for a second time. Rooms are compact. Service at front desk is excellent. Coffee machine in room is great. Roof top bar, I need to sample in summer. Location is great. Parking only issue, arrive late and in street parking is free. Compact, decor and service worry the stay. Book 3 days and has to be one of the best values in the area.
Stayed here a few weeks back when I had to make a last minute decision to stay in Brisbane overnight. Very happy with that I ended up picking the Limes Hotel (based on TripAdvisor reviews). Very nice, trendy hotel with my room have more than enough room for me to bunk down for the night. The bed was very comfortable, but I was perhaps a little too close to the ground floor so the noise from the local pub did travel a bit. I was driving my car and it was a bit difficult to park outside, then get access to the Parking Garage across the street. The latter wasn't a great place, although my car was still safe in the morning. The staff were super helpful though and I had one of the better pizzas that I've ever had around the corner at Alfredo's.
We were looking for somewhere close to the Tivoli theatre as that was our primary purpose of visiting Brisbane. Limes hotel is a short walk to the theatre and there is a pub on the way if you want a bite to eat or a quick drink before the show. The rooms are narrow but decorated nicely for an old building. The staff were very helpful and friendly and there is parking just around the corner.
On a one-night stopover in Brisbane, we checked into Limes and had a really great stay. We really loved the location, which was surrounded by great places to eat and drink. The area was quite lively, and happening even on a Thursday. The room itself was great - exactly what we wanted and expected given its rep as a design-savvy boutique hotel. The B&B Up armchair in the lobby was a cool touch for sure. The rooftop was closed while we were there but I get the impressions it's a bit of an anchor for the hotel, bringing in the local cool kids. Will have to visit again, in summer. Cheers.
We chose Limes based on proximity to an event that we were attending. I am so glad we did. The room was lovely, the staff were helpful and welcoming and the drinks at the rooftop bar were delicious. Just a word of advice it can be a little noisy in the rooms with patrons heading to and from the bar.. so this might not be the place for you if you are chasing an early night on the weekend. Didn't bother us at all though . Great place in a great location. I highly recommend them and will definitely stay here again
Great little boutique hotel. Small in size but great in customer service. Had no problems during the stay and really enjoyed the welcome drink at the roof top bar as well as the breakfast included in the deal. Mind you with a nespresso coffee machine in the hotel you don't have to go out too early. This hotel is in a great location and close to everything we needed. Would highly recommend. And better still the location was sooo good we didn't even need to get an Uber. Thanks for a lovely stay in a funky hotel.
Just a few hundred metres from Fortitude Valley station, Limes Hotel is a boutique hotel located in a unique group of venues near the corner of Constance and Alfred streets. With breakfast included it was good value when booked through a Hotels.com. The rooftop bar was quiet when we were there at 7pm, but looked like it would get busy later. Local restaurants offer variety and there is a bottle shop less than a block away
Great little hotel in Fortitude Valley. Very boutique vibe. Nicely appointed rooms and great amenities including coffee machine. Restaurant and bar next door lets you charge back to the room too. Great drinks and meals. One one night of my stay the hotel had a private party at their rooftop bar - it was loud and late. Made it very hard to get some sleep. As this was a work trip, sleep was very important to me! Only other bit of feedback would be to start breakfast at 6:30am instead of 7am - again for those travelling for work this makes all the difference.
Was charged $160 for the first night. Then it jumped to $200 the second night. Got a free cocktail. Breakfast provided. But just not worth it. Room is small. Bed is tiny. Probably worth $120 per night.
