Firstly, the key to the room must be collected at another address which is approximately 650 meters away. Secondly the elevator didn’t work. I later learned there was another on the other side of the building but by then I have to walk 5 flights with luggage. Secondly there was no lobby which meant when I order food I had to collect it at the door. And yes walk the stairs again. Third the balcony which I saw in the picture to go with the room was not the balcony which I had. Considerably smaller! Fourth there was no air conditioning in the room! I would not suggest anyone to stay here.

The check-in for the apartment hotel is 1km away at another location of the branch. This was not communicated to us and also not stated on expedia or the website of the hotel. By chance, a staffmember was present at the building due to a fire alarm going off and informed us that we had to walk to the other location. We had already parked the car and had all of our luggage with us. Once we finally got the key for the room and entered our room, we saw that it was not clean at all. There was hair and dirt on the bed and in the shower. The mirror was streaky, as well as the sink. Our favourite part was the moldy nook in the wall above the toilet where the towels were stored. Not to mention that the room we got was not as advertised. We had booked and apartment hotel room but only got a small regular hotel room. Very disppointing. Due to the major health hazard of the mold, especially with my partner being highly allergic to mold and showing allergic reactions within a few minutes, we decided to not stay and asked the hotel for a refund. The hotel did not acknowledge that there was mold in the room and claimed that the cleaners had checked that the room was clean earlier. The hotel did not give us a refund and did not react to Expedia either, when Expedia was trying to get in touch with the hotel. Overall, a very terrible experince. This is absolutely unacceptable!

The room was small but clean, it did the job even though we had asked for a king bed but got a double. The big issue with Nena apartments is checking in. We were told to expect a code 24 hours in advance. We never received one. It was only by chance when I started looking at reviews that I saw one customer mentioned there was no code and instead a card key had to be collected from Nena hotel 1 km away! I tried calling and messaging the property but after a two day stay and checking out I still didn’t receive a response. We did go to Nena Hotel to collect the key and the receptionist there was extremely friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage until che k in time. The fact that the instructions to check in are simply incorrect is frankly a disaster. The location was convenient close to sights and with a lovely bakery across the road for coffee and pastries in the morning.

Donné pour un appartement mais en fait il s'agit d'une chambre, il n'y avait qu'une seule chaise et des odeurs d'urine qui remontaient dans la salle de bain, par contre très bien placé pour visiter le centre historique de Brême

This is truly one of my worst travel experiences ever. Checking in at one place and then having to track through the streets to actually get to the apartments in another is such an inconvenience. It wasn’t next door, I could be ok with that but quite a distance. Upon arrival, the main door to the rooms was locked, the Safe didn’t work, and neither did the bathroom light. All in all a terrible experience, I left immediately after 5 phone calls and no one ever addressing my concerns I asked for a refund. So far nothing so I have no problem saying avoid this place.

Nice building and location, just avoid contacting the staff. Extremely rude. Got different apartment than the rooftop I booked, was too tired to complain as arrival was very late. Manager too cheap to give one roll extra toilet paper (there were 2) or extra coffee capsules (there were 4) or even tell the exact format of the capsules so I could buy some more myself. Extra taxes requested after the stay that were not listed in my bill. 8 night stay.

Reception is 1km away from the property!

Turns out reception is at the Nena hotel which is a 1km walk away from the Nena apartments and thete are no electric door locks i.e. you need a physical key card. Those news are shared in an email that comes through after booking only which is easily missed (who ever reads those..). Now imagine arriving with suitcases and kids in the rain trying to figure this out when no one at the property answers the phone and hotels.com cant reach anyone either. A mile’s walk with suitcase in tow to get your key simply is not acceptable anywhere in the world, much worse even if it comes as a surprise. Luckily 30 mins later back at the property with keys in hand things turned a bit more positive - the apartment is very nice, spacious, clean, modern, well located, etc
