Firstly, the good. The view and location were superb. I could sit on that deck with a glass of wine for hours. By far, the best part of this property is hearing the sound of the spring wash into the lake while watching the sun set over the ridge. That alone makes this place worth the money. The price we paid for this condo was below similar options in the same complex. As such, our expectations were set to medium. And medium is basically what we found. A few things that would've made our stay better: 1.) Tissues in bathrooms; 2.) Salt; 3.) Oil or butter; 4.) A lid for the large frying pan; 5.) A smart tv in the family room; and 6.) Larger toilets/toilet seats...truly, the smallest toilets we've ever sat on, and none of us are big people. One last minor complaint, when hot water is run from the left sink in the master bath or the kitchen sink, a loud clicking sound can be heard through the whole house - I'm guessing it's a thermal expansion issue. So if anyone is trying to sleep while another is washing her face before bed, it's probably not going to happen. Overall, the place was pretty clean but a little outdated.Having said that, we would recommend this rental as a safe option for a small family on a budget.
