Myself and my bridesmaids stayed at The Clarion the night before my wedding. We checked in late, around 10:30 and realized we needed more bed space than what was available in the king suite. We asked if we could get a cot or 2 brought up to the room, once we unloaded all our bags we went down to the restaurant for food and drinks. We were able to enjoy a few appetizers and some wine before we decided to head back to our room and call it a night, we came back to the room and were extremely happy the cots had arrived. Our night before the wedding was great. We will definitely use the Clarion again.

We stayed here as we do like the suites and the extra room. The rooms and furnishings could use an update. We ate dinner at "The Echo" and had the prime rib that they offer on Fri, Sat and Sun nights. It was okay but it took forever to get our meal - well over one hour - and when the food did come it was cold. There was approx 28 of us and we had made a reservation 2 days prior. Thankfully they fed the children (12 of them) in a timely fashion and no one said much about their meal. We also all ate breakfast there on Sun morning. The food is okay but it was also cold and the service was slow.

This is our "go to" destination in Brandon. Have been staying here since it first opened back I the 70s. Staff are extremely pleasant and helpful when asked. The suites need a bit of a facelift but remain comfortable and are consistently clean. The indoor parking is an added bonus. Highly recommend!

I stayed at the Clarion Inn and Suites in Brandon for 50 consecutive nights commencing May 1st of this year; my stay was EXCELLENT! I stayed here years ago when it was the Royal Oak Inn; wow, so many great changes and renovations since I last stayed here. Pretty much everything about the place has been renovated; new carpets, new beds, new furniture, etc. I stayed on the 5th floor in a King Business Suite; very comfortable and large - you require a special coded key card to get to the fifth floor on the elevator - this keeps it very quiet and no partiers. Underground parking is a bonus here - you can protect your vehicle from hail if it happens to be in the forecast. The internet connection was very good; never had a problem with it being slow. Rooms and the entire establishment is clean, clean, clean - always saw somebody cleaning something. Staff are very helpful and friendly; Bryce and Jessie at the front desk were always so helpful and pleasant to deal with (they should be commended on being such good employees). You can negotiate an awesome rate if you are staying for an extended period; I'm currently working in Northwestern Ontario and the prices for rooms out here are scary; so much money for only a fraction of the room I had at the Clarion Brandon. The food and service in the Echo's Bar and Dining room was excellent. All in all I had a great stay and definitely would return; I highly recommend this place.

The outside of this property is a bit "tired". But don't let that turn you away. The service in this hotel is excellent. Check in was quick and welcoming. We requested one of the rooms with a renovated bathroom. The room, while not contemporary is spacious, clean and the bedding was good. We really like the Renovated bathroom which had a great shower and a very large counter area. The air conditioner worked great too. We enjoyed the hotel breakfast. While no longer free it was excellent and we particularly want to thank Kim who gave us A++++ service. She kept the coffee flowing and made sure our breakfast was perfect. We did enjoy a late night dinner most nights. The bar service is friendly. The food, while not excellent, is good and they serve food until 11PM. The fitness room is also newly renovated. It was very clean, the AC worked great and they supplied xtra towels and water. All in all this is a very nice hotel. And a very good value.

We seem to have good luck booking Clarion Hotels. The negatives are an older hotel downtown that is perhaps a little harder to find. But they are out-weighed by exceptional service, a clean, quiet room with very comfortable beds and some amazing food in their licensed restaurant all at a very reasonable price. We had a very tangy Thai appetizer with post roast stuffed Yorkshires. There is a good selection of beers to cool the taste-buds between courses. There's also a bar, swimming pool and generous parking. Using the stairs to our second floor room was quicker than finding the elevator. We received a coupon for a free appetizer on arrival. We loved everything about this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel with our ball team. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. The pool attendant, Ryker, saw we were setting up for a team lunch and brought us an extra table and found items to help us serve lunch to the girls. The pool area is kept very clean and the pool is warm, which allowed our girls to stay in the water for longer. The water slide was really fun as well. The front staff were friendly and ensured our visit was an awesome experience. I would definitely stay here again!

Room was very spacious and clean. Large bathroom with outstanding shower. Micro and mini fridge. Good linens, towels and beds. Pillow choices too. Lots of free parking. Hotel footprint is a bit of a maze to get around in. Good pool for kids.

As this was the hotel with reserved rooms for wedding guests, we decided to give a try. Our room was very clean, the staff were very helpful and the pool area is very family friendly. We were so impressed that we are returning next week, for a few days, with our eight year old granddaughter. Looking just at the outside, we would have driven right by it but the inside was a pleasant surprise. We're happy to have stayed there and will likely be back often.

For $120 we stayed in a suite with two queen beds in one room, and a pull-out sofa in the other. There were also opaque glass doors separating the two rooms. The water slide is nice and slow, so great for younger kids. The brick building looks quite old on the outside, but the inside is fairly new. We went on the August long weekend, so the pool was busy. There are lots of tables and chairs beside the pool.
