Most amazing host we've every rented a home from! House was clean and fully stocked. Probably the best one we've stayed at. Host goes above and beyond. Communication with her was easy. Very thoughtful host!

The place was extremely clean and comfortable. A great front deck for relaxing and beautiful surrounding property. Comfortable beds, pillows and wonderful towels. There were so many thoughtful details that made the stay special. The kitchen was very nice and provided everything we needed! I highly recommend this Vrbo listing. I would love to stay here again.

The cottage was stocked and the pellet burner was a wonderful feature. There are 2 small signs that say the same as what you are looking for to turn left. Just keep going and look for the larger sign. The cottage is close to slopes. A few minute drive.

Cozy mountain retreat

Wonderful rental. Our family had a great time here. Very clean and cozy. The property managers overstock the amenities and are always checking in to see if your ok. 20 minutes from Idlewild, we stayed here to make a weekend of it, and had an awesome time. Thank you!

Beautiful home in the woods

My boyfriend and I stayed here with our children ranging in ages from 10 to 20. The home is absolutely beautiful and well stocked with necessities. The deck and fire pit were wonderful outdoor spaces for family time as well.Beautiful location, beautiful home, wonderful host. We can't wait to return!

Property was the most accommodating and supplied places we have ever stayed at. The host was very available and easy to communicate with. The property is located adjacent to a wonderful park and enabled hiking at anytime. Lastly we wanted to spend time in the mountains and quiet time which this property delivered extremely well.

This home was frankly one of best experiences we have had at a rent by owner. The description was totally accurate but, as they say, it's the little things. As the notes in the bathrooms say (something to the effect of" "If you forgot it, look and you will find." and the notes were totally accurate from the acetmetaphin, to makeup remover, to dog leashes and bowls, to assortment of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, three kinds of coffee makers..... we didn't have to look hard to have all the comforts of home and weekend getaway and then some. And then there is the beautiful Laurel Highlands. And the fire area. And the beautiful well equipped kitchen. I am hopeful the out building is being made into an extra room or standalone rental? We were a little tight with three adults and two children and two dogs but the rain did prevent being outside. Super sweet campfire area and the swing in the woods. Very private tho quite a few gorgeous homes in the neighborhood. Since it was a very rainy weekend, we probably didn't get to explore the hiking/biking paths as much as we wanted but still saw some great sights.

We had a wonderful stay at Nicole’s place. She is an incredibly patient, responsible, and kind host, and her home truly made us feel welcomed and cared for.The house was warm, comfortable, and very well organized. Everything we needed was thoughtfully prepared, from toys for the kids to plenty of everyday supplies like coffee, hot chocolate, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and many other essentials. These small but meaningful details made our stay extremely convenient and stress-free, especially while traveling with children.Our kids had an amazing time, and we felt right at home throughout our stay. We are truly grateful for Nicole’s hospitality. If we come back to ski here again next year, we would absolutely love to stay at Nicole’s place again.Highly recommended!

Absolutely Perfect Stay!We had an incredible experience at this property from start to finish. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described—if not better. My husband and I have been camping, hiking, downhill and xcountry skiing on the Laurel Summit for decades. Everytime, we wished we could find lodging on mountain. So when we found a VRBO house we were so excited. It had incredible 10/10 reviews. We asked a ski buddy to join us because it comfortably slept 6. Nicole, the owner, offered earlier check-in before the big snow of January 24, 2026 began. The driveway and deck were plowed and shoveled for easy unloading at either the side of the house. The temperature was toasty, and upon initial tour we were immediately impressed with how immaculate it was from the shining hardwood floors to the gleaming bathroom tile. I have written less than 10 online reviews in my life, so when I say this house was the cleanest rental I've ever seen, it is genuine. It still felt like a warm mountain house with character unlike condos, but it was spic and span from ceiling to floor. No dirt in the corners, no water spots on the utensils, no stains, even the windows were clean for snowy views! The little community is private with very limited development. We were surrounded by woods and trees, but saw several "neighbors" (some on snowmobiles!) who waved kindly. Being away from "civilization" was a joy because Nicole supplied all we needed to be comfortable. She even made sure with the storm coming that we had non-electric heat and light sources. I risk competition for dates with this review, but Nicole deserves it. Thank you so much!
