Greatest place ever!
beautiful, everyone should see this….
The hotel charges for electric paddle boards even though they already charge very high rates for the bungalows. The restaurants are excessively expensive but their food are not good and low quality. It is often very windy even on sunny days.
Beautiful resort and friendly staff
The staff really worked hard to make us feel welcome. We felt like royalty during checkin and the shell lei at check out was such a special touch. We love the ukelele songs during our ride to the airport. Thank you for a great stay. We would definitely come back.
Amazing views, wonderful, friendly staff! Great food and beautiful water!
We are so glad we selected this resort for our first trip to Bora Bora! We opted for the private shuttle service and so glad we did. The entire staff was really friendly - receptionists, concierge, food service.. EVERYONE. When crossing paths with any worker, we always received the friendly "I
The property, room and resort was beautiful. The food and service was not so great. Breakfast Buffett is the same thing every morning and there are flies everywhere and on the food/fruit. It’s one thing to have flies and to try to get rid of them but the staff would just stand there as it didn’t matter. Also when you are staying at a resort, at least I would of expected resort type of food/available, it’s basically the same food we have here in the US but just multiply the price 5x. We knew things were going to be expensive but not for what we already have. There is not much for options.
staff was very friendly and helpful and had a great view from our bungalow.
Cozy hotel, incredible staff, beautiful lagoon. Highly recommend. We stayed 5 days in a overwater bungalow and it was the best experience ever. Food is very expensive as everything in the island.
Beautiful setting. Small grounds. Worn and in need of upgrading.
The whole location of Bora Bora is magical. The resort is in a perfect location with its scenery to the lagoon and mountains. Truly a special place to visit. Top shelf staff and resort
We loved our stay at Pearl Beach. Not sure what others are talking about that have had bad experiences. I wouldn’t believe any negative reviews. The breakfast is amazing with so many options to chose from. Rooms clean are clean and ac works great. Resort is a little older but the grounds are beautiful and they do a great job with daily maintenance of the property in general. Staff was extremely pleasant.
Wow. Bucket list - check! We had an incredible and unforgettable experience in Bora Bora and so happy we stayed at the Pearl Beach Resort. What a wonderful group of people working here - they all were warm and welcoming and never hesitated to assist to making our stay memorable. We started with the "Coco Otemanu" spa treatment and were slipped into the most relaxing and enjoyable spa treatment that could be imagined. Vichy showers and a soak in Coconut milk w/Hibiscus flowers (really!). I was hesitant about the shark and sting rey encounter but my fears were quickly dismissed with our handsome guide who took us to exciting locations for swimming with sharks, sting reys, manna reys and snorkeling. I can now say "I swam with sharks". We also did a few other excursions - jet ski (so fun!) and 4 x 4 excursions (WWII canons). Guides are knowledgeable and friendly. Afternoons mostly spent on the beautiful white sand beaches in a hammock relaxing. Really cannot say enough how beautiful Bora Bora is and the Pearl Beach is perfectly set on its own Motu. I would definitely come back and I would only stay at the Pearl Beach.
Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort and Spa was an overall wonderful experience. Their beach has some of the softest, whitest sand I've ever seen/felt and their location, with such unobstructed views of the volcano, was hard to beat. The staff was very friendly (Ia ora na) and they were very helpful and accommodating.
Bora Bora Pearl Beach is beautiful, the accommodations impeccable, the staff happy, efficient and charming. Our overwater bungalow facing Mt. Otemanu was delightfully polynesian in construction and decor. It was well-appointed and we lacked for nothing. Each morning we watched the sunrise from our deck as roosters crowed across the lagoon. An outrigger canoe breakfast on my birthday was a treat I won't forget! The activities staff will make your every wish come true, but for popular activities (the sunset cruises), it's best to book early in your stay, if not before. Try the polynesian foot massage at the Spa performed with the feet rather than the hands. We loved Ambrosia, the Italian restaurant, an intimate choice with killer desserts! The breakfast buffet is very expensive, but the croissants, to-order pancakes and eggs benedict were great. Eat a lot and skip lunch! Staying on a motu requires a bit of time to get to sights and activities once the shuttle drops you on the main island, so factor that in when planning your stay.
This reveiw would be a 5 overall had it not been for the deep sea fishing. The people that we were set up with charges us $750 and just road us around on the boat for 3 hours. Never stopped to drop a line and no chance to catch anything.
The only thing that marred our stay, was the food in the restaurant, we only stayed one night and the only choice was a mediterrainean buffet, nothing offered was to our taste and what we had was not enjoyable, it was expensive which we wouldn't have minded had we enjoyed it ,we complained and were given the price of one of the meals refunded. and an apology. , the staff were very friendly and as helpful as they could be.
