The house was built with the finest quality and attention to detail. It was a joy to stay in this home!!! The management company was responsive via phone, but we found a frying pan coated with burn on eggs... dust balls under the beds, (very minor issues) but we came to stay for Christmas... and there were still halloween decorations up. They had a fake tree (I think in the garage?), but didn't bother to put it up. :( We stayed for 9 days during the holidays and there were no decorations. A slight disappointment considering how much we paid. We were also told the hot tub and one of the large games (air hockey?) were not available the day before we arrived. My husband hiked 40 miles on the AT while we were there, so the hot tub was a major reason we booked this location. I don't blame the owners... but the management company should pay closer attention to detail when they are getting paid a lot of money based on our rental price!FYI. I hope the owner sees this!

Amazing Sunrises!
We got a LOT of snow. 6+ inches and had a driveway 100 ft long to hand shovel with 3 wonderful shovels. It was good exercise but not for the faint hearted. So beautiful and snuggly inside. (although there is NO wood provided for the fireplace!!!)

Stunning Home, Ideal Location

Gorgeous home with beautiful views of Sugar Mountain. This home suited our family perfectly with enough space for everyone. From the perfectly equipped chef’s kitchen to the spacious hot tub, this home had it all. Located 10 minutes from Sugar Mtn, 20 mins from Beech, and only 5 mins from Banner Elk. The teenagers and kids loved all the games, game machines, and pool table. We also enjoyed the multiple fireplaces. The home is massive, but each space felt cozy and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Christmas Memories

Grandparents, six parents, and six toddlers/children all had a holiday trip to remember! Home is more beautiful than pictured. We loved the location and the three floors that provided space and privacy for all.Gorgeous views and many extras make this house special!

Truly amazing property and experience

It was a magical time in a magical place. The house was as beautiful and as well cared for as the pictures. We had 7 adults, three young children and an infant and there was plenty of room. Close to downtown Banner Elk - walking distance - and grocery stores. A beautiful pavilion in the neighborhood for the children to play as well as a great playground in downtown Banner Wlk.

Fantastic Trip to the Mountains

This cabin was was such a treat to stay in! We knew it was a beautiful place and location from the pictures, but we’re still blown away upon arrival! We wanted a space where we could spread out and have our seperate areas. We had 8 adults(4 couples) plus 4 kids, ages 1,2,6 & 7! My girls stayed in the bunk beds, they aren’t really pictured, but they loved it! The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need, this was great for us, as we planned to do lots of cooking while there. The outdoor deck area with the fireplace was also a great area to hang out and enjoy the views. You are tucked up in the mountains, but also close to amenities. The cabin was very clean and we were provided with lots of towels and extra blankets. I would say the only one thing we were bummed about was not having access to the fridge in the laundry room. We had to keep all our beverages outside to keep them cold. The kitchen fridge was full of our food for the week. Not a huge deal, as it was cooler out. This is the first time I’ve stayed somewhere where the rental service checked in to make sure we were doing okay. Questions were answered right away and we didn’t have any issues during our stay! We will definitely keep this place and Blue Ridge Rentals in mind for future vacations.

Beautiful home in a perfect location!

We usually stay on top of banner elk and have to drive up and down the mountain to get to stores and dinner and what not…this time we stayed at the bottom before beech mountain in this gorgeous home with plenty to do and amazing views!!! Perfect location and perfect house!! We will be staying here again for sure!

Wonderful property

We do an annual trip for my husbands birthday. 10 adults. It’s tough to find a place that suits us perfectly. This home is it! The bedrooms are spaced far enough you feel comfy in your own space and the gathering places such as kitchen and family and game rooms are large enough to accommodate. The TV’s worked great too as we had sports events on almost all of them. The kitchen was well stocked with just about anything you need. Stores are close by as well so the location is convenient yet you feel the beauty of the scenery around you. The hot tub was a hit on the huge outside deck. And the decor is spot on. You just couldn’t ask for a better place to spend a long weekend with friends.

Beautiful view, lovely home, gated community

This was our second time renting this home and it was as lovely as ever. Clean and ready when we arrived. Location is in a quiet community where you could sit and enjoy the stunning view in the quiet of nature. Highly recommend it.

Family Time

This house is everything you want from your home away from home. It is completely furnished with everything you need from cooking to entertaining. We never felt like we needed to leave. It’s big enough that you are never crowded. We look forward to coming back.

Awesome Winter Trip Stay!!

What an AMAZING house!! It is extremely spacious with plenty of rooms, bathrooms and activities for all! We all enjoyed playing pool, foosball, air hockey and pac-man. The outdoor hot tub was a hit along with the outdoor wood fireplace & grill. There’s wrap around porches all over the house giving a beautiful view towards the mountains. We also saw tons of deer on the back hill. Our group had an amazing time and would go back in a heartbeat! This location is so close to downtown Banner Elk (food, bar, grocery stores, etc.). As a warning, the gated neighborhood and especially the house driveway is extremely long & steep! Please be aware during winter months.

Large house in a great location with beautiful views.

Christmas 2021

We had the best time staying in this wonderful house! Everything was top notch and in good working condition. The views are outstanding! Saw several deer from the wrap around balcony. Absolutely loved the large wood burning fireplaces and the pool room upstairs. We would definitely stay again. It was a magical Christmas for our family!

Great for families

We had a wonderful trip with 4 families with young children. We were amazed at how easy it was to have the kids entertained in the downstairs playroom with all the gaming options - arcade, air hockey, and foosball. The floor plan was great for our needs and the mountain view speaks for itself. We also thought the community was lovely and so convenient to everything we wanted to access in the area. We hope to return soon.

Beautiful Home

This house met our expectations in every way. It was clean, attractive and nicely laid out for our group of 8 ladies. We liked being in a gated community with easy access to golf and dining. It was incredibly quiet inside and quite peaceful. Enjoyed it so much we have booked a week for 2022.
