It was wonderful. We had family in town and had them over for a barbecue. It was a great location for my husband and stepmother to see our other family. We will be back.

Location is wonderful being right on the lake and close to local shopping, restaurants, parks, etc. The home itself is spacious for hosting family and friends. That said there were issues with the check-in process as the instructions given weren't accurate so it took a while to get in with the 10 digit code (ridiculous length that I've never seen before) and communication from the property management company was obvious the person responding did not know what property we were at. The pictures and description are NOT clear that the primary bedroom is not technically a bedroom - it's a loft space without a door and open to the main room so no privacy. It was also a hot summer week when we were there and 1 of the 3 fans they provided worked which did nothing to help the primary room get cool enough to sleep. The basement and decks were enjoyed. If you're planning to do a lot of cooking while there you may want to bring your own utensils, mixing bowls, can opener, etc. as what they provide is really cheap or not there and note the kitchen is small so really only enough for 1 person at a time.

Nice and clean. A privacy/room divider would be nice for the "master" loft, just so people in the 2 lower floor rooms can't see people sleeping as they walk out their room. It's not super obvious in the listing that the master is a loft vs a room with 4 walls and a door which feels a little misleading. When asked about it to Vacasa, they game me a line about how it's part of the unique layout of the house. But that is my only complaint. Beautiful view and a relaxing trip. So much space to spread out, play games and eat lots of delicious food. We had a great time watching boats and jet skiers, would definitely stay again.

Wonderful house, and amenities all worked. The neighborhood is safe and friendly. The very upstairs was a bit hot, and no door as shown to the king bed. We expected that but a bit more privacy in that space would be a good upgrade. The outdoor area was great to hot tub, fish, camp fire, SUP, and enjoy the lake. Beautiful home and we loved Lake Tapps!

Beautiful scenery with a few hiccups

Location and beauty was spot on. So serene. We rented jet skis and had many fun days on the water. Some of the hiccups. The spa did not work. Would send multiple texts and they would answer but would not follow up with responses on the status of the spa. On day 3 they told me I needed to put in a request to use the spa 72 hours in advance. Ok I requested to use the spa on day 1 of my 7 days. Then they told me they had to order a pump for it and it would not be coming in until two weeks after we were leaving so the spa was not an option. Second problem was the refrigerator froze all of our food and drinks. I could not find anywhere that I could turn up the temperature. Also, the master bedroom had no privacy. You could see right into the bed and there was no lock on the bathroom. Also by the fire pit, there must have been glass shards because three kids got glass in their feet. There is no AC and the top floor got to be 86 although they provide fans it was still really hot. The pillows were super big and puffy, which hurt my neck so if you like squishier pillows, I would bring your own. Overall I would still highly recommend this spot if you love water and nature and a can deal with a few hiccups.

Multiple issues

We arrived, the door code is tricky. The code is really long and you have to put it in fast. Took us a bit to get in. The property and home was clean but it seemed to have been a while since it was clean. Cobwebs everywhere, there’s a spider issue at property. The decks had cobwebs and debris from the trees all over it so it was hard to enjoy the top decks. The house was 87 degrees, there was AC but would not turn it on for us. They said the listing doesn’t offer AC. The upstairs was in the 90’s. Unbearable. They did provide some fans but that didn’t offer much relief. So we were very uncomfortable with how warm it was for 3 days and had a hard time sleeping up stairs. Also the primary “bedroom” is not really a bedroom. There’s no door. It’s open to the other bedrooms and the downstairs. No privacy. When I asked them about this they said you could tell in the pictures there’s no door. You could not tell. The stove and oven do not work. The ice maker in the freezer is broken and causes water to leak all over the floor. We finally figured out if you remove the ice maker it stops leaking water so that was fun. They advertise that there’s a fireplace but you can’t use it. Not that we would have but inconsistent with their ad. The property management company is horrible. I called several times, they told me they would look into it and no resolve. They said they’d credit us and ghosted us afterwards. The lake is fun and beautiful but the house is not. XX Beware! XX
