We stayed here during a stretch of extreme heat, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. While the basic housekeeping seemed okay and the motel has an older, rustic charm, the room's air conditioner was completely unable to cool the space—to the point where it was actually warmer inside the room than it was outside.
Because the room was not comfortable or safe for a full night's sleep, we had to leave in the middle of the night and find alternative accommodations, ending up not staying for our booked three nights. On Day 2, management did offer to switch our room, which we appreciated, but since we had already found somewhere else to stay, we politely requested a refund for the remaining nights. Unfortunately, our follow-up messages regarding the refund were never answered.
Given the extreme heat issues and the lack of communication on the refund, we wouldn't feel comfortable returning or recommending this property in its current condition.
