The whole experience for my parents was horrible. The water seemed contaminated with all yellow coloured water. The rooms were not anywhere the quality a 4 star ratings (and the money) deserves. The service was also subpar. Won't book or recommend this to anyone!

We enjoyed our stay at the Royal Bengal Hotel. The rooms , bathrooms and other areas of the hotel were very clean. The staff were very friendly and answered all our queries. The restaurant has great food and is reasonably priced. I would recommend staying at this hotel when visiting Bolpur

The bathroom is bad and unacceptable. No barrier or curtain between shower and toilet. After shower the whole bathroom would be flooded including the area around toilet seat. And would remain wet unless wiped dried and cleaned after that.

There's no parking for this hotel, which was quite annoying being a tourist. Also, the tv wasn't working, the room refrigerator's switch was also burning, but it was not much of a problem because the staff replaced the refrigerator immediately. The food is excellent, but the service at the restaurant is very very slow. Overall my experience was not much satisfying. Other than this, I would blame expedia for lying to us by making us pay for 4 guests. The issue was that I booked the room for 4 people, and the room was smaller than what was said on the website. It was well written that 2 extra beds would be arranged, but in the hotel only 1 extra bed could be arranged because the room was small. I didnt even get a refund from the expedia site regarding the same.
