I first stayed at the Hacienda Royal Hotel when visiting Bogota for a wedding. Since then, I have returned for work twice and will only stay here when visiting Bogota. The hotel is cozy, charming, incredible views of the lush mountainside. The front desk team has the remarkable ability to make you feel like you are the only guest in the world. They make thoughtful suggestions about restaurants, sight-seeing, spa, shopping, etc. There is a lovely little station with candies, fruit and flavored waters upon check-in. From the smallest amenity to help with planning a work function, the team at the Royal Hacienda has it all. I would recommend this hotel over and over and over again as a real home away from home. As a Lifetime Platinum member of a major chain hotel (which I obviously love), the fact that I will only now stay at this hotel in Bogota should speak volumes about what a special place it is. Thank you, once again for an amazing stay! Which is always too brief.
The room a little too small but very clean and cozy the bed comfortable. What i like the best is the view, looking to the mountains and high rise buildings architect. the staff very friendly overall the stay was very pleasant.
Excellent hotel and people. Bogota is great. Good location in La Hacienda mall. Good restaurants and Andres Plaza. I always travel to this hotel. Breakfast is good too and the services is one of the features that impressed me.
Everything was great. Everyone very friendly. Always someone to help me with the language since I do not speak spanish. Beautiful location. Connected to a beautiful mall where you could find anything--nice coffee shops and etc. The plaza was beautifully decorated for the Christmas holidays. Nice restaurants around the plaza. Very safe area.
This hotel has it all. Location, excellent service, and spotless rooms! There're several restaurants in the close proximity of the hotel. The mall that surrounds the hotel offers access to grocery stores, coffee shops and beauty parlors that made my stay an enjoyable one.
Latin America is different from Norway in many ways, for one: people in general are more open. But the friendliness and the service experienced over 10 days in NH Royal Hacienda is unsurpassed in my book (and I do spend too many nights in hotels). My wife and I had a nice room on the fifth floor with the morning sun coming in above the mountain at 7 o’clock. The room was spacious, the bed was huge and very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and modern with all kind of amenities. If there was anything amiss, it was my ability to see the class table in front of the couch when I got up in the morning: I stumbled on it twice on my way to raise the curtains. During our stay, we tried all the services provided – from laundry service to hotel taxi, bar, restaurant and Gym – everything work as it should, services were delivered with a smile and a follow up to make sure we got what we wanted. Exactly the way it should be, and at the same time without being forced upon you. The hotel itself is situated in a very nice area in Bogota. The hotel is part of a mace of a shopping mall (originally based on a farm house) with a number of nice, small shops, restaurants, coffee shops and a decent supermarket. Immediately behind the mall is an area with more than 50 restaurants over a few blocks; a nice and safe area where one can enjoy both shopping, strolling in a park, going to church or having a meal. I will not hesitate to spend my next visit in Bogota in NH Collection Bogota Hacienda Royal.
Located in the historic and beautiful Usaquen district of the city; this was a particularly nice place to stay on the eve of the Immaculate Conception Holiday when the squares and streets were lit up by candles. The rooms are spacious and breakfast was good; staff helpful. Good business hotel as well as been good for tourists.
Excellent customer service, location, food service in the middle of the night, and kindness towards my baby nephew. First time there, definitely the new place for our family to stay when visiting Bogota.
On arrival to the hotel/Colombia we found the reception staff to be really friendly and accommodating....started us off with a good feeling to our holiday. The hotel is a short taxi ride to shops/ bars. During our stay we found the rooms very comfortable, clean and if you needed anything from room service, nothing was too much trouble and always delivered by a smiling member of staff. I could go on about all the positives (no negatives), best you visit yourself and have the same experience we did of feeling special.
I was on a business trip and the company put me up in The Hacienda Royal. It is located in an upscale neighborhood in the city of Bogota. As soon as you enter the hotel, you know you are in an upscale environment. The lobby is well appointed, albeit kind of minimalist. To the right is the bar and restaurant. The staff in the Bar/Restaurant is very attentive and accommodating. In the morning there is a buffet breakfast which is superb! It features FRESH squeezed juices, tropical fruits, cereals, cheeses, as well as eggs to order, meats, and breads. The coffee is some of the best I've ever had anywhere and if you like milk in your coffee it has been steamed so your coffee reamains hot to drink. The rooms are large and well appointed with large 'big screen' tvs, cable, a very large bathroom and king sized bed. My room also had a desk and sofa with coffee table. Over all, it would accommodate spreading out to do office work as well as just sleep. I aranged a massage with the front desk in the afternoon and a person from a local spa came in for the appointment. The front desk personnel are more than willing to help you and most speak English (Good thing because my Spanish is marginal at best!) well. In general, if you are looking for great accommodations with a superior staff, you've got to give The Hacienda Royal serious consideration - you will NOT be disappointed.
