The Hotel is in a very good location to explore the city. It is right next to a big Shopping Center and on Sundays there is a huge market behind the Hotel. In the Area are lots of cool and cosy restaurants. What is as well nice, is the fact that on each Sunday's a lot of the main roads are closed and you can literally walk, skate or ride a bike on the real main road. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and smooth. The room was spacious and with a few over the park next door. But you need to be aware that in Bogota nearly no Hotel has central heating! But we asked for a small heater and we got one. The breakfast buffet is amazing and very appealing. We would stay here again. Thank you very much for a great stay.
Located in a very good neighborhood close to the Usaquen town inside the city with a lot of options to eat..lunch..breakfast and dinner...close to Hacienda Santa Barbara Mall rooms are ok they offer free parking and Internet. Service is a plus and very familiar . I move from Hotel W where the music and confort are terrible! Lift service is very good at any time. Try the coca infussion if you come from sea level It helps to survive with the Bogota sea level 2,600 meters!
This hotel is located in Usaquen about a 20 minute drive from the airport. I took the authorized taxi from the atirport. The location is in a very upscale part of Bogata. My room charge included breakfast, which was extensive. My room was large and had available food and beverage for purchase. There was free coffee service. The view from the window was spectacular. Tomas the front desk person was great. His English is good. He arranged a tour for me and also called taxis. He also helped me when I had trouble trying to verify my LATAM airline flight. He advised me on the area and also recommended restaurants. I went to Candelaria, the Andes on cable car. Botero art museum, Gold museum, Jose Celestine Mutis Bontanical gardens. I was always safe with my money and taking authorized taxis. So I never had any trouble in Bogata at all. Luckily the weather was great when I was there and so I had unbelievable views from the mountains. It can be cool and so it's best to bring layers. I would definitely go back and stay at this hotel.
This is the second time I stay in this hotel. The first time 3 months ago was OK ... that is why I came back. But this last stay was a great disappointment. Starting from the moment I arrived to check-in ... did not get the room I reserved with a king bed... ended up was a queen bed due to no availability and very unfriendly front desk attendants. The restaurant service during breakfast has declined to what I consider very poor... and again very unfriendly service. but the worst of all is the house keeping... and not keeping up with updating amenities... I don't recommend this hotel...
This is a quality hotel in the very nice and quiet neighborhood of Usaquén, about 30-40 minutes from the airport with light traffic. Rooms are comfortable, clean and relatively large, with nice views of the neighborhood and mountains, and service overall is very good and friendly. The hotel is attached to a large, maze-like mall, which is convenient but it's also very easy to get lost in there if you venture very far (I'm serious, and there are no maps that I could find). I was visiting family, so didn't try the restaurant except for breakfast, which was fine. Recommended!
I come back to this hotel two or three times per year. I would never choose anywhere else, for three main reasons. 1. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff. Service is always provided with kindness and a smile. 2. The location, in the heart of Usaquen, is perfect. Usaquen is a safe, quaint area of the city, famous for its cafes and restaurants. The hotel has a door which connects it with a large, upmarket shopping mall. 3. The size and quality of the rooms, with wonderful views of the surrounding hills. I always enjoy travelling to Colombia, and a large part of that enjoyment is returning to the Hacienda Royal.
We had 2 nights on our first stay and were happy enough to book again for another night before departing Bogota. The things we liked about this hotel were the good breakfasts, rooms with a pleasant outlook onto the mountain, the neighborhood (Usaquen) is great to browse around and for restaurants, well located north of the town, good service and a late check-out. The only thing I wasn't mad about was carpeting in the bedrooms. However, this is a personal preference and possibly necessary in Bogata with its cooler climate.
We're enjoying every minute of our stay at the NH Collection Bogota Hacienda Royal in Bogota, Colombia. The location is absolutely the best we could hope for, in the safest part of town, with easy inside access to the Santa Barbara shopping center where you will find everything you could need. The service is great and the hotel is super clean. The beds and the rooms are very comfortable. I recommend it strongly.
I would recommend this hotel if you are staying in Bogota. It is in a very safe area with open spaces opposite. The food was very good, especially the breakfast which was excellent. Unlike all the other hotels we stayed in this hotel had a kettle in the room. The room - 304 was clean and modern and the hotel was lovely to return to after sight seeing.
Highly recommend this hotel for your stay. Tons of shopping and restaurants within safe walking distance. The staff was very friendly. Loved the comped breakfast and workout room. I would not stay elsewhere unless forced to when I come back. The views of the mountains in front of the hotel were great.
