We had a great (3-nights) stay at Strandhotellet. It is a lovely stylish hotel with a quaint atmosphere, and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We received excellent service and the staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming. Note if you stay during the warmer season: There’s no AC in the room or ventilation in the bathrooms. The room had a small portable fan which we turned on at night: We would have preferred to leave the patio doors open, to experience the ocean breeze but due to mosquitos we had to keep the doors closed. The room was unpleasantly warm. That said: we were in Blokhus during the warmest week of the year, the weather and the beach was amazing ☀️

Et virkelig skønt hotel. Hyggeligt og smukt indrettet med mange skønne detaljer. Da jeg skulle køre tidligt til morgen, og derfor ikke havde mulighed for at nå at spise morgenmad, pakkede den utroligt venlige receptionist en skøn pakke med morgenmad, som jeg kunne tage inden jeg kørte. Utrolig god service. Kan give mine varmeste anbefalinger til stedet.
