Easy walk to town, easy walk to trails and also a wonderful house to just while away a rainy day inside looking out at the garden. Plenty of room for kids or in our case our dog, to run about and have mini adventures in the fenced yard. Perfect..

False and misleading advertising
Our stay was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. The house was advertised as having a hot tub (this has now been removed by the host on the ad) and enough seating for four guests, but upon arrival, we found that the hot tub was missing, and the comfortable couch from the listing had been replaced with two uncomfortable dining chairs. To make matters worse, the two-seater and one-seater couches were filthy and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in ages.We were also really looking forward to using the BBQ, but it was in a disgustingly dirty condition. The fire pit in the garden was neglected, full of debris, and completely unusable. Given that it was a cold, rainy day, we were hoping to cozy up by the fireplace in the living room. However, we were told it’s only available during the winter months, even though the listing didn’t mention any restrictions about seasonality. We reached out to the host asking for a refund, especially since the missing hot tub was a major factor in our decision to book, but our request was unfortunately declined. The host suggested that we check out by 6 PM (this was at 3 PM) to receive a full refund for the second night. However, with such short notice, it was impossible for us to secure alternative accommodation in just three hours. The lack of attention to cleanliness and the misleading listing was incredibly disappointing, especially given the price we paid. We would not recommend this place to anyone—it's a far cry from what was promised.

Fabulous getaway with our 9-month-old small dog.
Fantastic home - true to listing. 2 large, fenced areas for puppy to explore with fences that went down to ground and were high enough to keep our bouncy Iggy safe. Beautiful garden areas and outdoor firepit. Indoor fire draws beautifully. Double glazing and good heating/air-conditioner. Spacious rooms and SMEG kitchen appliances. Laundry in shed out back well equipped. We took a folding dog pen for use inside as well. Beautiful experience.

Lovely cottage
Blackheath is one of our favourite parts of the Mountains and we enjoyed our few days in the cottage. It is close to great walks and shops. We loved the leafy secure front and back yards for our dog and kids to enjoy. Hosts easy to communicate with and we appreciated the later check-out. Wifi worked well too! Hope to come back soon, thank you

Great family and pet friendly getaway
Such a cute little cottage for our family autumn getaway.
Brilliant secure yard for our fur-babies.
Kitchen possibly needs a few more utensils however we ate out local during our stay so didn’t affect us. Great touch with the Nespresso coffee machine and complimentary pods!
Will be back to stay again soon for our family 4wd trips!

Beautiful home and garden . Very comfy beds. Great location, walking distance to Blackheath village. Missing a few small things such as box of matches or dry wood to light the fire. Was told by owner that these things are supplied in Winter even though it’s been very cold up here in May.

A delightful haven in a great location
As a small group of friends we enjoyed our 3 nights here - once we overcame the heating issue that Wayne responded to immediately. Spacious and comfortable, the beds, linens etc are first rate, the decor pleasingly contemporary and fresh, the accommodation of a small dog most appreciated. The addition of some kitchen accoutrements will greatly enhance the stay for those who like to cook at home. Communications were very prompt and would happily book to stay here again.
