I stayed at Pheasant Cottage with my two dogs, and it was perfect. The view of the lake is beautiful, and the backyard is huge. The canoes are nearby, and the cottage is separated from the lodge so it feels secluded, even when the resort is fully booked. We'd love to come again!

Get away with our side by side trip.

We enjoyed our cabin stay, but were disappointed with a couple items that were not in working order. The fishing wasn’t at all what were hoping for. The hot tub was nice and we did enjoy that. Overall it was good, but the cabin could use some updates. It was a fun area for trails with our SxS.

Quiet lake

We enjoyed our time at the lake. The cabin was just like the pictures. The fishing was great. The owner lives onsite and was able to quickly address our needs. The listing stated laundry machines which there weren’t but he was able to let us use the laundry in the empty cabin-he changed the listing description after that. Cabin is close to Black River Falls and Hatfield for other adventures. Brian’s snake collection was also cool to see!

Exactly as presented. Cozy & comfortable, and we were glad to have a rental that would allow our dog. You need to bring your own shampoo & soap, but that's a minor detail. We look forward to staying again.

Serenity Lake

Stayed for a weekend with my friend and my dog and what a great last minute find. The property was beautiful, spacious and felt very private- it's right on Serenity Lake and has a hot tub with a view! The cabin was cozy and clean with lots of windows and natural light, which I appreciate. (That being said, you might want to bring a face mask for sleeping if you're sensitive to light, as there is a flood light out back.) There is a trail you can meander through the woods around Serenity Lake if you're so inclined, and plenty of trails very nearby! Would definitely return.

Wonderful and peaceful place

We have visited Serenity lake for Labor day and spent 3 nights there. The place is very quiet and relaxing. Lots of untouched nature. Great place for fishing .The cottage is nice and has everything you need. Brian the host is wonderful and friendly. He answered all of our questions and was very helpful. The hot tub in front of the cottage is wonderful for evening relaxation. We will be back in spring for sure. Worth the drive from Chicago if you need to get away and chill in peace and quiet. We already miss the place, specially two friendly ducks that would come out of the lake and hang out with us 😆 Highly recommend this awesome place!!

Great Getaway

We stayed in Pheasant Cottage. Perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed the beautiful setting Serenity Cottages offers. The natural surroundings support native plants and many wild animals. Loved the low key, relaxed atmosphere (except for the periodic dog barking from the neighboring dog daycare). Each cottage is in its own private setting. The lake is small allowing for the enjoyment of non motorized water activities. It was great to have a relatively dark sky (bright yard light was a distractor) to view the stars.

Nice quiet place

The place was very pretty and quiet. Clean cabin. Not much room for trailer parking if bringing an ATV/UTV and with having to unlock gate we were partiality in the road with our trailer while unlocking gate. Hot tub was nice. Close to Hatfield which as fuel, food and great access to the trails.

It was excellent experience.

It was excellent experience. Me and my wife stayed the beautiful place for 8 nights. We fond new every day. Kayaking, fishing, hot tubing or enjoy the clear summer night sky - you name it. This is a unique place to spend your summer vaction with privite lake, hot tube in norther wiscinsin. Host Brian is very helpful, profesional and efficient. We will be back definitely.

Cottages on serenity lake

This location was beautiful and peaceful. It was a great weekend get away. Pricing is really good as well. My friend and I were able to go for a nice 2 mile walk and got to see wildlife along the way.

Great place. Very quiet and liked the security gate at the entrance. The cottage is cozy and comfortable . Enjoyed sitting out by the lake and being greeted by the ducks!
