Dave's place was exactly what we were looking for after a whirlwind week with friends and family. We wanted a cosy and comfortable space where we could relax and Dave's cottage and his hospitality delivered more than we could imagine. The house itself was very clean, well-equipped for our stay, and was very homey especially with the fire on in the colder evenings. Dave was really friendly and helpful in giving us tips and information to become familiar with the area. It was easily accessible to so many beautiful hikes! We highly recommend this stay :)

Weekend break

Very well presented property. Lovely touches around the house. May benefit from a small TV. And possibly make the WiFi code more accessible. Overall a really pleasant stay.

Welcoming and homely

Great base to explore the Dales, very well equipped cottage in a very quiet village within easy reach of local pubs, a cafe and superb riverside walks. With a glass of wine, the wood burner lit, and a good book, it is ideal for a restful break. Would not hesitate to return, at any time of year.
