Little run down needs an update. General appearance is very used, carpets, elevators etc.

Great location but facility condition is lacking. The place just didn't appear clean to the level I've experienced at other locations.

Nice hotel in an area that I was attending a function in downtown Birmingham.

Business travel. Great location. Always stay here when in B'ham.

My room had no heat and the maintenance man had gone home for the night so I was left, "in the cold." The staff was nice and my room was clean.

Beautiful area. Village in walking distance however everything was closed for 4th July. Nice walking trail along tranquil stream short drive nearby with beautiful homes along the opposite side street. Beautiful mall nearby. Zoo & botannical garden nearby. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would stay again.

Clean rooms, close to many great stores and restaurants, friendly staff, great breakfast.

The hotel was fine. Decent price. helpful staff. Good breakfast. nothing great, but nothing bad. THe entrance from the road is odd. Hard to see from the road, and lanes are not well maintained so it's hard to tell how to get into the parking lot.

Hotel accommodations were not equal to what was described on web site. There was no microwave nor mini-fridge as stated and that was important due to the fact I had my 3 year old grandson. The staff advised some rooms had them and some didn't. However this was not explained on web site nor was it an option. Room was cramped. Door was a fire safety issue because you could see light all around the door so therefore smoke could have filtered in. Also the noise factor was unpleasant during the night from slamming doors. Even though the ice machine was several doors down you could hear people gettinh ice during the night.

Hotel was Excellent and extremely affordable. Did not experience many of the amenities as this was just an overnight stay as we picked up grown children from Airport.

Very nice for Hampton Inn. Nice room with great lighting (which I like). Good location, great Greek restaurant in plaza next door. Decent breakfast, good cookies at night. Staff was excellent. I would stay there again for business anytime....

This is the second time we have stayed at this Hampton Inn in Mountain Brook. Instead of driving 50 miles the day of a doctor's appointment, we choose to get a room and spend the night before. Everyone is so pleasant. The rooms are a good size, the beds are comfortable and the breakfast was great.

Attended a wedding fridge and microwave would have been nice

I failed to reserve a room before leaving home and found myself searching for a room after several hours of travel. I spoke to [...] and she found me a room at a great price. The location in Birmingham, Alabama was great. Thank you so much for the assistance.

Short stay, comfortable but ready for refurbishment. Looks like it will happen soon based on pictures in the lobby...

The customer service was outstanding! Really some of the best I've received. The rooms were okay, they needed a little updating.

Location was good...service was good, room was fairly clean...time to change TVs to LCDs & more channels in room... breakfast room small... for a few nights it's fine
