As expected

A basic place to stay overnight for a good price. Room was clean but worn and I was surprised to find a bath in the student en suite. The mattress desperately needs replacing- I feel for the poor students who live here! There is a kitchen available for use but -be warned- you'll need to bring all your own cutlery, plates etc. You don't even get a teaspoon with the tea/coffee kit!

Once you are acquainted it was good.

Stay was overall good. Once you were there it was fine. Getting the bearings right was an initial challenge. No idea where reception was and the nearest parking to it. It is not what I am used to. Howbeit once you knew where you were all was good.

Really comfy bed & clean bedding. So much better thai I expected. Kettle & choice of tea & coffee a good touch. Conveniently situated for the purpose of my visit ( Sns Graduation) Wld definitely recommend

Room fitted the purpose for one night. Staff very slow to reply to my messages. I had asked if use of the pool was included and by the time they replied I had already arrived in my room which was the furthest point on campus from the pool. And I asked if breakfast was included and they replied 5 hours after I'd checked out. Check out procedure not provided so left key card in room on leaving as I had my car and going back to Senate house was very inconvenient.

Very difficult to find the reception. As there is no parking, outside. Even security doesn't really know, where every is. As I was sent in the wrong direction twice. The reception staff, who all seem to be students, are either too busy to help give good directions or don't care. Finally the room don't even have T.V.'s.. Not a relaxing stay at all
