Perfect stay for business trip with good access to public transport. Free parking! and comfortable rooms. TV a bit outdated.
Very disappointed about this hotel more a hostel even a hostel is much better. The internet presentation pictures looks good but it's not . I put not disturb card on my door, the cleaning lady kept knocking on the door. This was irritating till I realised the card was taken away. By the way the cleaning lady was rood without saying good morning . At the reception desk, the young lady was just cold and distant . Unfriendly. When I asked about visiting Poland for a day trip.......her answer was terribly stupid ,no effort, I choose this hotel because of the free parking , But every evening I was obliged to park on the street because not enough parking spaces . No free internet which is ridiculous in a Wyndham hotel. Windows were not well isolated because the traffic noise still went true despite close Windows. It was also very noisy in the corridor just like a youth hostel . There was apparently a hockey team group from Russia, The Hotel Tryp Berlin City East , The name City East sounds good but it's very far from the main attractions for sure .
The decent hotel with all you would need for your business trip. During my short stay, I picked the location due to short distance to the customer office, but mostly claiming available fitness in house. How disappointed I was when I experienced the treadmill was not operational similarly to weight tower which was missing part to set the proper weight. The room is small, however okay for a short trips. Safe, minibar, small shower and other standard business traveller amenities. Wifi connection is slow so if you want to enjoy some videoconferences, pick a different hotel. I have experienced some flooding issues in my shower and the service had to come and fix it. I trust I just got bad luck. I was however expecting more from the breakfast for the price it costs.
If you are a Warschauer area music lover visitor in Berlin, simply book a room here as M13 tram line ride to Loeperplatz takes only 13 min and the walk afterwards takes only 7 min. Go and have a good sleep in the silent rooms of the hotel after a long dance night while you have to pay affordable daily fee.
Very good value for money. Close to tram and a super market (Lidl). First WiFi login was troublesome, but worked eventually. Internet speed was rather slow on peek hours, probably too many guests using it.
Nice hotel. Really value for money. Friendly staff, Spacey hotelroom, very nice beakfastroom and hotelbar.
Value for money hotel; ticks the boxes on - cleanliness - commuting to city centre; U bahn is a small 1km walk - price/quality on room - good breakfast with enough choice - enough grocery shops around for alternative breakfast and nibbles for the evening Downside: -As it was a few days before New year, you heard a lot of firework noise outside -Rooms are quite warm and opening the windows meant sigaret smoke of people coming in + firework and trafic noise (as our room was at the front on 3rd floor) -Pillows are lousy but reception can give you extra pillows -A small amount needs to be paid for internet access on your room
We enjoyed our stay and the staff were great. Only problem was the breakfast warm trays that require lifting lids and finding a place to put them, then watch out for the condensed water running everywhere,
The Hotel was OK for us, we only stayed 2 Nights, Room was a little bit loud by Traffic, Breakfast was perfect
We made a last minute decision to visit Berlin. My first journey since Berlin and Germany became United. I found it surprising in a number of ways, not least was the arrival at Tegel in the evening, with no idea where our hotel was located, except I believed it was in the previously East German sector. A 32 minute taxi, and 32 Euros fare saw us arrive on a bleak street, and a less than imposing looking hotel. The reception was welcoming, our third floor room accessed by lift was a comfortable size, but very basic. The bathroom larger than some we've stayed in, power points were scarce and the decor fairly ordinary. No tea making facilities. A basic bench, but a couple of chairs. We spent a comfortable night, and went to the breakfast. A reasonable price and an excellent buffet offering. We found confirmation that the hotel was indeed in the old East, perhaps indicated by the name of the street, Ruschestrass, and the nearest Ubhan station Marienplatz ( 15 min. Walk ) was adjacent the The Stasi Museum! A place we visited later in our stay ( a must visit) . The tube journey is another 15 minutes or so into Alexandeplatz a focal point for travel. Back to the hotel, it's bar and restaurant offered modest but good food offerings after a day out, the staff were attentive, and friendly, If anything can be offered by way of advice, it is that it could do with a bit of a face.lift to bring it to the standard we have experienced at other Wyndham properties. Overall a good place to stay away from the bright city lights, modest, with few luxuries,. It is no more than it claims to be, again the breakfast is excellent. Wifi not available except in lobby and selected areas on ground floor.
