The Hotel was OK for us, we only stayed 2 Nights, Room was a little bit loud by Traffic, Breakfast was perfect
We made a last minute decision to visit Berlin. My first journey since Berlin and Germany became United. I found it surprising in a number of ways, not least was the arrival at Tegel in the evening, with no idea where our hotel was located, except I believed it was in the previously East German sector. A 32 minute taxi, and 32 Euros fare saw us arrive on a bleak street, and a less than imposing looking hotel. The reception was welcoming, our third floor room accessed by lift was a comfortable size, but very basic. The bathroom larger than some we've stayed in, power points were scarce and the decor fairly ordinary. No tea making facilities. A basic bench, but a couple of chairs. We spent a comfortable night, and went to the breakfast. A reasonable price and an excellent buffet offering. We found confirmation that the hotel was indeed in the old East, perhaps indicated by the name of the street, Ruschestrass, and the nearest Ubhan station Marienplatz ( 15 min. Walk ) was adjacent the The Stasi Museum! A place we visited later in our stay ( a must visit) . The tube journey is another 15 minutes or so into Alexandeplatz a focal point for travel. Back to the hotel, it's bar and restaurant offered modest but good food offerings after a day out, the staff were attentive, and friendly, If anything can be offered by way of advice, it is that it could do with a bit of a face.lift to bring it to the standard we have experienced at other Wyndham properties. Overall a good place to stay away from the bright city lights, modest, with few luxuries,. It is no more than it claims to be, again the breakfast is excellent. Wifi not available except in lobby and selected areas on ground floor.
It was what I had expected, Okay. First got a smoking room where I had asked for a non-smoking room when I booked the room since I was staying with my 12 year old son. After asking for it a new room was found after a long search. Room was reasonable, matrasses on the beds were not the best anymore and the carpets were a bit dirty but otherwise no remarks.
Helpfull staff, clean large room, good breakfast, restaurant is ok. Wellness is ok but not more than that. Had a good sleep, so bed s are fine
The worst hotel i have been in the last 5 years. This hotel being on the TRYP chain is a shame Sympathy of employees = 0 Cleanliness -1
For the price not bad. But floor in hotelroom very very dirty. Should clean the carpet professionele. Rest of the room very clean little outdated. Paying for wifi not from this time. Service very good aswell breakfast very good
Hotel is clean. Stayed there for 2 weeks. Had to continually ask for extra towels. After 3 days they should remember my request. At times it seemed like a youth hostel. Bus loads of kids every day and quite noisy. There were no freebies like water or coffee in the room. Breakfast was not included and was quite pricey.
Good hotel, at 10 minutes from metro. Great breakfast, the rooms are very large the only fault to be old. Moquette and shower curtain is not a plus in my point of view. But very clean and hospitable.
Our Costsaver tour stayed here. Breakfast is pretty good. Two markets across the street. Bus stop around the corner. Basic but fairy clean. Helpful person at desk with transportation map. Lidl store closed on Sunday.
I stayed here for three nights this past week for a conference, and it met my needs very satisfactorily. The only problem was the lack of water without gas in the dining hall. They only ever put out water with gas, and water with slightly less gas for meals. And they seemed astonished that anyone would want water that wasn't with at least a little bit of gas. It really surprised even the Germans at the conference too.
