So we checked into Pullman in the 07th night and we had some luggage as we were doing a ten days trip. The front desk gave us our room keys and then took us to some basement area. The palace was stinky and horrible. From thereon, we were taken to the adjacent building and given 3 rooms. The room were spacious and the bed was great! But the whole "getting to the room" was horrible. To add to it, there were mosquitoes in the lift as well! We requested the staff to shift us to the main building and they did it the next morning. What pissed me off in 07th night was the fact that they weren't too transparent with the room and it's location . The room was good but it was the way to the room which was an issue. If you have had a good meal and have to walk through to your room, I bet you would have to hold your breath!! The good thing is that they gave us a new rooms. You can sit in the bar until 1.30 am and also call in for food until the kitchen closes. The hotel doesn't include breakfast! (You can go to Spreegold which is a five minute walk to have breakfast) All in all, rooms are good. Location is good. Staff is helpful!

Big hotel, amazing parc view from room on 6th floor. Spacious room, very clean. No noise. Big breakfast with attentive staff, fresh juices and large selection of bread. Helpfull congierge, huge pool and nice saunafacilities with a small terrace.

Pullman Berlin hotel is ideally located on Budapseter St, opposite Berlin Zoo. Around the hotel there are plenty of restaurants and shopping centers. The famous, Kudam St is an 8-min walk from the hotel. The interior and lobby are beautiful. This hotel is equipped with a pool and sauna. One of the best things about this hotel is the staff, in particular Mr Marshal, at the information desk, is such a gentleman. All in all, it was a nice stay.

I booked this hotel after a bad experience with another one of it's partner hotels, not realising it was part of the same chain. The last place had very poor customer service which was bad enough but this place offered me a really crummy room. Upon arrival I asked them if their rooms were soundproofed which they confirmed so I proceeded with the check-in and went to our room. However, the first thing I noticed was a really bad smell from the carpet, then turned around to notice the air-conditioning was struggling to work and the room was roasting hot. Within the first minute I could hear the stomping of feet on the room above like they were doing the Riverdance and every sound echoed and creaked though the surrounding bed furniture. Within a couple of minutes, I left the room and went back to reception to cancel my stay there because there was far too many things wrong with the room and I wasn't going to bother trying anything else because their hotel chain had already wasted enough of my time. I walked down the road and found an Intercontinental which is a prime example of what a 5 star hotel should be in terms of room comfort and customer service. Also, the excellent buffet breakfast was more affordable too than Pullman, another plus. I am not sure what else I can say about Pullman other than it gave a very bad first impression and the building did look a bit dated and shabby, not as good as the photos would indicate.

Having spent two days staying on the other side of the city, we switched to the Zoo area for a change. As it was August we managed to find a very reasonable c. €100 a night rate (room only). On arrival we had a very efficient and friendly welcome, despite the fact we were early. Our room wasn't ready so we dropped our bags and headed out again. Located close to the Zoo, the hotel location is excellent if you want peace and quiet, with lots of shopping only a few minutes walk away. Our room was a very good size, the bed was fantastic and the bathroom, the shower in particular, was excellent (the only thing missing from the bathroom was heated mirror - a surprising omission). Mistakenly leaving our 'Do not disturb sign' on the door until 2pm, we returned to find a note apologising for not having tidied the room yet, but if we called by 3pm it would be done. We called and within minutes housekeeping were at the door. Impressive. The hotel has a decent pool (good for lengths), gym and relaxing area. The steam room is one of the largest I have seen in a hotel. During our stay the bar and reception areas were undergoing refurbishment, which made it noisy during the day, but from the plans it looks as though it will be great when finished. As it was summer it was warm enough to sit outside, rather than using the temporary bar, so not a major problem. The only disappointment was that breakfast was priced at €25 per person. Even on business you might find the accounts department raising an eyebrow and there was no way we felt we could justify such a high price, so we skipped it (although I'm sure presentation and quality would have been very good based on everything else we experienced). We were well looked after here and would happily return on our next visit to Berlin.

I was greeted very differently than the couple in front of me. Unfortunately, the quality of service at reception varies depending on the person (and what you look like). Beyond that, very nice hotel, excellent location, nice rooms. Stayed for 3 nights/4 days and was only given a wi-fi code for 24hrs so had to go to the trouble to ask if I had to pay for further service or could have another code - no answer - just handed a sheet of paper with a 7 day code. Well if you knew I was staying for more than one day, why not just give it to me to begin with??

Stayed for business conference. Rooms really nice and light and beds so comfy. The shower was also so amazing. Lovely view of Berlin from the top floor. Sadly only had time for a little walk around lovely area. Would love to visit for leisure. Dinner and Breakfast were delicious .

Just returned from another great visit to Berlin which included a wonderful stay at the Pullman Schweizerhof Hotel. Have stayed here many times and love the location, style and rooms here. The lobby is currently undergoing a renovation which looks to be a beautiful space once completed. Look forward to my next visit.

Lovely spacious room, great location but why did both beds have holes in their sheets and why were the towels on one day extremely frayed around the edges? And why were we sent on an unproductive goose chase simply to get ice on our first night? Not acceptable for a five star hotel.

The welcome at this hotel left much to be desired. I stood in the queue for a good ten minutes before being informed that my room would not be ready for an hour or so. This was at 3 pm. I went out and returned at about five. The room was still not available. I sat in the lobby for an other half an hour starting to worry if I would make it to the opera in time. Eventually I got the keys to my room. I received no apology for being kept waiting. Very bad service. Made me feel anything but a valued guest. Certainly not a five star experience! The room itself was clean and comfortable.
