Great hotel in a fantastic neighbourhood with lots of nice cafes and good restaurants, quiet area in Charlottenburg. The hotel lobby is gorgeous and inviting. The superior room was quite large, so much light comes in the room with the wall of windows and small balcony. Lovely bathroom, plenty of counter space next to the sink, great walk-in shower. Special thanks to Lara who was very warm and welcoming. Hope to come back soon ! Be sure and get a cocktail at the hotel bar it was awarded "Best Hotel Bar at the 2017 Mixology Bar Awards for Europe"
Superb Hotel! Best Marriott hotel in Berlin. Everything was prefect include room, service and food. Good location very close to Kadewe(bus or walk). Parking is reasonable. I really recommend this hotel in Berlin. Thank you Lara, you and your team made my stay! 性价比很高的豪华酒店，强烈推荐。
This hotel is EXCELLENT. Conveniently located, a 7 minute walk from the rail station and main shopping centre, in a pleasant area. The rooms are very modern and stylishly furnished - nothing whatsoever is lacking. Very clean, fully equipped, I couldn't think of any way to improve this hotel. Very quiet at night - so quiet that I overslept on my first day there. Stayed from 23-27 January, 4 nights. My flight was due to land quite early at the airport so I requested early availability on the room, well before the normal check-in time. No promises were made, but I was delighted on arrival to hear that my room was ready and waiting. Will definitely stay here when next in Berlin!
A beautiful, modern hotel - like a spa retreat in your own room! Excellent service from the staff as they were always courteous and very helpful. However, they became confused when we inquired about the closest coin laundromat as we needed laundry done right away. We had to navigate on our own to Eco-Express, which is about a 12-min walking distance. We had requested for a roll-away cot, which was brought up to our room promptly. The cot was charged twice upon check-out but the issue has since been resolved.
I took some time choosing the hotel in which to celebrate my daughter's 21st Birthday and was not disappointed. The location is perfect, quiet but close to everything too, room design outstanding - the bathroom was sensational and the housekeeping staff should also be commended as the cleanliness and detail was top class. The staff, as others have said, are very professional, but genuinely friendly - and very helpful - a big thank you to Moritz for searching out the vintage shops for my daughter and typing up a list for us and also especially to Wanda and the other young ladies at breakfast who were delightful. (Breakfast was lovely too!) In terms of decor, it was the perfect blend of luxury and modernity, with touch of 'louche' Berlin of the 20s - the interior designer should also be complimented. It was good to 'feel' we were in Berlin, not a faceless international hotel that could have been anywhere. We were also given a beautiful junior suite on the second floor overlooking the front of the hotel which was very much appreciated. The only thing we missed - and I am sure it was an oversight- was a card or some such to mention my daughter's birthday which would have been nice. Small point, but management should take note as it is the little details like this that really do set hotels apart. Anyway, I am being very picky - it was a fabulous hotel experience overall and do not hesitate to book! When we return to Berlin, we will definitely go back to the Am Steinplatz.
We highly recommend this hotel. The staff are very friendly and efficient , it has a really nice relaxing feel, great location with just a short walk to the zoo and the main shopping area in Berlin. Very cool bar, voted best hotel bar 2017. Fantastic food, Michelin standard and Very Quiet rooms. Not much else you can ask for!!
The staff does a great job - they are personable and attentive. Perfect location. Nice buffet breakfast. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard and winter garden. The bed is super comfortable, and as part of turn-down service, they leave a little gift on the pillow to help you relax for the evening. You need to book ahead for the spa visits, because it is not always staffed. The bar has great drinks with locally produced vodka and gin.
It is the best hotel I have been in Europe, well deserved first place in ranking. They have an excellent service, food is beyond delicious and rooms are great. They send us pastries to our rooms as soon as we arrived, and they left us snacks every day. Cleanliness and perfection are the two words that best describe this hotel. Beds are super comfy, that it is so hard to wake up. They offer colored toilet paper which is so funny to see. Definitely come back again and again. Also we want to give special thanks to Gianna for her great attention and help during our stay.
We stayed over New Years and had a fabulous time. New Years is quite an experience in Berlin - we saw in midnight in the hotel bar and then spilled out onto the street to view the fireworks. The hotel is fabulously located in a chic part of the city. The staff was very helpful throughout our stay, especially Lara and Julia. They were extremely informative and had great suggestions of what to do and where to eat. Overall the hotel is well maintained and the style is tremendous.
We had a fabulous stay in Berlin and this hotel played a huge part in our enjoyment. We arrived on New Year's Eve and the staff were welcoming and pleasant from the moment we walked in. We were asked if we wanted to upgrade our room and declined. I have read other reviews here that said the rooms were small. We had a deluxe room and it wasn't small at all - there was plenty of room for our eight-day stay and since I, unfortunately, contracted a cold we spent a lot more time in the room than we had planned but didn't feel cramped or closed in. The room was beautiful. All of the staff were awesome, especially Lana who helped us before and during our stay with recommendations and suggestions. The area is great - it's far enough away from the major Bitte area to be less touristy and more authentic but close enough to amazing restaurants, bars and charming squares. We had our night-cap in the bar almost every night and they recommended great drinks and other places to visit. Lovely little touches in the room, like leaving bookmarks for our books, cleaning wipes for our screens, remembering our coffee preferences and leaving Happy New Year Messages on the mirrors. All, in all a fabulous experience.
