I had a great stay. Initially, I was put off by the exterior, lots of graffiti in the area, and the presence of homeless people hanging out in front. Despite appearances, the neighborhood is a safe place. I walked to my work event every day at all hours and felt safe. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is impeccably clean and organized. The rooms are comfortable and the decor is stylish. I have curly hair and was surprised to see that the hair dryer had a diffuser. The breakfast is wonderful, lots of variety. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect for a long weekend in Berlin

Clean and comfortable room with a small balcony. Breakfast was very good - enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace for this. Great transport links right outside the hotel. Perfect for a long weekend in Berlin.

fantastic location

Great location for a trip to Berlin with U Bahn and buses (inc. airport bus) next to Hotel. Huge choice for tasty breakfast. Some nice local restaurants. Only negative was no free WiFi although relatively cheap at 5euros/24hs

Convienient Hotel close to city center

The location of the hotel is good, near the center of Berlin. Public transport is close by (subway and bus, also Bus from/to TXL). Room was clean. Breakfast was ok. If the weather is nice you can have it outside. Not every room has air condition.

Good for a short stay

We stayed overnight before flying. Very convenient transport links for airport and town centre. No kerb appeal, but it grew on us. Very helpful, friendly staff, good-sized room and surprisingly quiet at night with windows closed. Breakfast included was varied and plentiful. It's a short walk to the river, turning right out of the hotel, then first right again. Turn left down to the river path. Very good Italian restaurant...casa. Matti.

Nice hotel, unusual entrance great breakfast

Nice hotel, once I got past the unusual no lobby 2nd floor entrance. Fine modern rooms, great access to transit, and a great breakfast. Only issue is that the district is evolving and is at its best right now.

This hotel was smelling and too far from the city.

For the amount it cost we could have found somewhere far better. The hotel had a foul smell whenever you walked in. However it was close to both bus & train. Very disappointed.

Value for money

I was on a 1 night business trip so not much time spent at the hotel but this is not my first time here, I have been several times now, the staff are friendly, the room is of good standards and the breakfast buffet is nice. I will no doubt be returning on my next visit to Berlin.

Conveniently located hotel

The hotel is very conveniently located: next to a TXL stop - Tegel express that takes 12 minute to the worst airport I have ever flown from and a subway station. Literally next door is a supermarket and it is within an easy walk to the biggest attractions of Berlin: the Brandenburg gate, Reichstag and Unter den Linden. The close proximity is a little shady a little sketchy at night: some drunks in the park across the street but overall not a big deal. WIFI is not included but costs 1 euro for and hour or 5 euros for a day.

Good hotel for short say

Ok hotel for our stay in Berlin. Plus was location next door to tube and airport, good brekkie and comfortable beds. Minus was the strong cigarette smell inside the hotel especially entrance, double beds stuck together for couples not ideal.
