It was a good quiet hotel close to the city center. Very nice cosy rooms. Nice service and people are very helpful. Easy to reach different places, metro is close by. The view is nice and its located in residential area so no outside noise.

Where should I start? I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights in June 17. This is a small hotel, a lot of wall to wall carpets and old fashioned rooms. We had some issues with our booking and the staff was very unhelpful and slightly rude. BTW there's no front desk service after 10PM. The hotel is locked and you need a room key to go in (Yes- an actual key, no fancy room cards here). We met a couple that wanted to check in after 10PM standing outside the hotel with no idea what to do..Anyways- so the bed is a single very small bed, bathroom is tiny and the worst for me was that there's no AC!! And we had some hot days. Some good things- breakfast was nice and affordable, don't pay more then 15 Euros for it- not worth it. The rooms were clean with fresh towels daily. That's it for good things, About location- Inside a small street, walking distance from Sony center and the station (where the conference i want to was). The street is not the nicest place walking alone at night. For most of Berlin's attractions you will need a Taxi. If you are traveling on a low budget this could be a decent option, just don't expect too much.

Clean, tidy and functional. Comfy beds. About a two minute walk (if that) to the bus stop which takes you direct into town. Really friendly staff who are always happy to help. Wifi is fast and reliable. Didn't do breakfast there so can't comment on that. Would really recommend this hotel as a good place to stay for a short city break.

the staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful to us, i really appreciate them! however there were some problems with wifi in the room and couldn't connect most of the time. location was good and able to walk to some main attractions

I stayed here for two nights in May 2017, it was a great location for me due to business in Station Berlin, a simple 5-10 minute stroll across the park. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, the breakfast was decent and the location was quite but also withing walking distance of Potsdammer platz. I would have no hesitation of staying here again,

This hotel is located in a very silent location, but still very close to the center. A park for a morning run is 2 minute walk away, the Potsdamer Platz 15 minute walk. But you can also get very easy to other important locations and bus and underground are just nearby. Food places are available around the hotel. My favorite about the hotel was the breakfast and as you can see I travel a lot due to business. They had everything and very fresh, plus very friendly staff always asking if everything is ok. Loved it. The rooms are very clean and made in this kind of new design. Meaning that there is one open room with a large bed, a sink and the shower and a separate small toilet. But all new and tidy. Have seen this kind of room design in other newer hotels and I guess it makes the room compact and more rooms available for hotels. But hey, enough space is there, as long as I can do some push ups. I recommend this hotel very much. Enjoy Berlin.

The overpriced breakfast was the deal killer for me. I was trying to like this hotel. But, with not- so -friendly staff, and no desk service after 8 PM, and the boring gray carpet, or blandness of everything , earns 2 STAR. It doesn't even seem close to anything. It is in a safe, quite neighborhood. Taxi from Berlin Train Station to hotel is between 9 and 11 Euros.

This hotel is located in a small lane connecting to busy road. The location is quiet. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was good. Room with double bed was clean but I must say it was really small and since we were carrying lot of luggage we didn't have space to move around. The supply of free toiletries was very limited, just hand and bath soap. So if you staying here don't forget to carry everything. Also they don't provide tea or coffee in the room so if you need, better to carry.

Rooms are small but clean. Good location near Potsdamer platz and in a quiet residential neighborhood. No service from 22.30PM-6.30AM. Very slow wifi, razor thin pillows and not so good quality towels and no mini-fridge or safe. Breakfast selection and quality was allright. Conclusion: OK hotel but overpriced. Normally, I would have given the Fjord hotel a solid three stars had it not been for a ridiculous incident with a hotel employee. On 20 April 2017 around 11PM I lied down on the bed and found out the pillow was razor thin. Although I was told that there was no one at the reception from 22.30PM-06.30AM, I tried to contact reception. So I called and got the same receptionist on the phone that had checked me in earlier in the day. I told here I wanted another pillow, but she said: 'sorry I'm not here , I can't help you now. Help tomorrow'. I found that rather odd and knowing that I would not sleep well on the razor thin pillow, I went down to the reception. (Un)surprisingly she was still there. She got mad and said in a loud voice why I had to come down even though she had said that she wasn't there. Obviously she had wanted to leave earlier but couldn't for whatever reason. She tried to dismiss my request but I insisted. Then she said loudly in German: Es kann nicht wahr sein! And she slammed several doors on her way to get pillows, all the while saying unfriendly things. When new customers arrived at the same time, they got snapped at by the receptionist. When I tried to lodge a complaint in the morning on 22 April 2017 about this incident, I was interrupted 5 times to be told the same thing over again: the employees try to wrap up at 22.30PM but if customers keep asking questions and requests they cannot finish their work. Clearly, the employees experience customers after 22.30PM as an obstacle to get home. That's why instead of three stars I'm giving the hotel two stars. My worst rating ever for a hotel. We're not coming back.

Located on a 15-20 min walk from Potsdamer platz, the hotel is located in a small and quiet street close to a subway station. rooms are basic, but comfortable and clean, free Wifi throughout the hotel. staff is very friendly and the breakfast is very assorted and tasty for a low price. the only comment i would have is the limited amount of soap/shampoo in the bathroom
