I am a travel director for the best Company in the world #simpleythebestTrafalgar We stay here with a groupe !! Excellent in all the way Beautiful rooms , excellent breakfast Good service ,public transport in front of the door 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
The hotel was beautiful. We got allocated a free upgrade on arrival to junior suite and wow it was fabulous! The room itself was luxurious, comfy beds and living area. No noise from outside. The hotel is a little further out and I was apprehensive but with the phenomenal transport in Berlin I need not have worried. The tram (M5 and M6) are literally outside the front door, the s-bahn is a stone throw away too. Included breakfast typically continental but lovely and very nice dining area. The sky bar was quite spectacular early evening as the view is great, see picture attached. Fully recommend this hotel!
We decided for this hotel because we wanted to be close to some friends flat, so we were not too picky about where to stay. We let our friend to visit the place and say if it was ok. When we arrive we got surprised because considering the price we paid, we were not expecting such a new building, with a very clean decoration and very kind team. The double room is very spacious with 2 big beds, a couch (not a sofa-bed) and a table with 2 chairs, plus an arm chair. The bathroom was really the high point, all white with glass cubicles separating each facility, very good shower and bathtub (despite I don't use it outside my house). Very good cleaning team, but we had a very intense night life at Berlin some days, and left the room late, so we lost the time the cleaning team was available. By the way the breakfast was included and it was good enough to be worthwhile to wake up to take it and go back to bed. The location is not touristic in fact is very residential, but you will be 5 minutes by tram from Alexanderplatz, and there is a tram station at door of the building and subway station (Landsberger Alle) less than 50 meters away. I didn't have chance to visit the leisure or gym areas.
Modern and well-kept hotel with friendly staff. Well organized lunch and dinner for a big group. Relaxing and finishing the day at amazing skyline bar Public transportation are very close to get to the center of Berlin very easy.
Andel's is a very nice hotel situated to the east from city center. It is big, rather modern, well organised. It has its own SPA inside. Also there is a Michelin star restaurant (that you strictly need to reserve in advance in order to visit), and a top-level bar with good set of cocktails and etc I should mention great breakfast composition: all standard hotel menu, great variety of sausages and meat. My big satisfaction was of fresh grass (parsley, mint, onion and some undefined - up to 10 types) that you cut before putting into your plate. We all tried to guess why this hotel is still rated 4*: it's convenient and laconically styled but not posh, not luxurious. Rather popular for business conferences: a lot of space for many people, not disturbing each other The main disadvantage is its geography. The routs to city center are convenient but long: trams (25-30 min), S-Bahn. Definitely taxis are easier.
We would highly recommend this eco-friendly hotel. Contemporary interiors, excellent service and fine dining. Staff members were very helpful and catered to your needs. Very good location and accessible to public transportation.
Spent 5 nights here early May for a well earned City Break. The hotel is very large but spotlessly clean and I must say that I found the staff friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out. The room was clean and spacious with walk in shower and a separate bath just as requested. I ordered some flowers in the room for my wife on arrival - they were order only 18 hours before we checked in and the hotel delivered without any problems at all ... And didn't charge me a kings ransom for the privilege either. The hotel has two greats selling points in my view .. First of all transport links .. It is situated about 2 miles to the east of Alexandraplatz ... But the tram stop is on 50 yards from the front entrance and it is a direct tram (12 minutes) to the centre. The trams M5 and M6 run every 3 to 5 minutes or so Additionally the train stop back to the airport is 100 metres away and the S9 train takes you directly to and from the airport in about 40 minutes and runs every 20 minutes or so. You will hard pressed to find a better location outside of the immediate city centre. Secondly the breakfast which is included in the room price.. To say it is extensive is not doing it justice. The separate breakfast restaurant in the hotel is light .bright and we'll run. There are plenty of staff on hand and everything is topped up on a regular basis and certainly well before things are empty. Continental breakfast, cooked breakfast, fresh meats... Cereals etc .. Everything catered for in abundance... I defy anyone not to say that the breakfast is anything other than exceptional. It is very difficult to find anything to fault this hotel on .. But if Ihad to mention one thing it is the way that the sky bar attached to the hotel regulates rather number of people in there at any given time. The Sky Bar is located on the 14th floor and is open to both guests and the general public We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and visited the Sky Bar on 3 separate occasions.... Drinks are expensive by uk standards but let me say the measures are proportionate to the price ! No 30ml uk measures here... Everything I had or saw poured was at least a double.. So that brings things into perspective. The only criticism I would have is in regard to the way that numbers are regulated.. There doesn't appear to be any system in place to let you know when the bar is full and perhaps this is where the comments regarding rude staff originate. The staff are very straight when it comes to advising when it is full and turning you away. Given the fact that other options for getting a drink in the hotel are very limited I feel that the hotel needs to either have a staff member at the bottom of the lift notifying people that it is too busy or alternatively to use a token system from the main reception to regulate the numbers although I do accept this will place a burden on reception staff but there are enough of them to cope in my opinion. One thing for certain residents at the hotel don't get any special treatment... We were unable to get in 2 nights out of 5 In summing up a nice bar 65 metres up with great city views but go early in the evening to avoid disappointment . Other than my comment and observation regarding Sky Bar I cannot fault the hotel or its staff and will book again without hesitation next time I come to Berlin Top tips get a room on an upper floor or courtyard facing if you are a light sleeper... Also the higher rooms give great views to the west back into Berlin.
Brilliant room, very spacious and well equipped. Comfortable bed and luxurious bathroom with powerful shower. Breakfast was great with loads of options to choose from and could be leisurely as didn't finish till 10.30 and 13.00 on Sunday. We ate in the bistro on our first night and the food was great. Service was disappointing - not sure if it was where we were sitting or if the waiter took a dislike to us, but we waited far longer than other diners to be served. Also ate in the Michelin Skykitchen which was sublime and the Skybar which had the best gin martini I've ever had! I would definitely stay here again and plan to check out this chain in other locations.
The hotel is a stylish hotel on the outskirts of Berlin , don't be put off by that, as there is Tram station outside the hotel with a direct line into the centre of the city. The hotel is a clean , smart and stylish. The rooms were clean and spacious and great value for money . The staff are very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again .
Nothing too special. Room was small and aircondition bad. Bed was hard . Breakkie ok. Not much selection to a allergic child. No soy products and Foods not labeled properly. Laktosfree is not same as milkfree ! Not very polite personell.
