I held my 60th party here. The staff are amazing. Organisation was perfect. The room looked fabulous and the DJ followed my instructions to the letter. The food was great. Can’t recommend it highly enough for functions!
Grange on the outside looks quite nice, but you cant say it when you enter inside. Hotel's area is undergoing everlasting modernisation... Due to that fact, access to Hotel via foot is a bit constricted. Going out for a walk, may be intricate as well. Reaching hotel via car is more convenient, however one may be confused by the road signs. There is a small parking for guests available. Grange is located in the center of Bracknell, and is conveniently accessible for those who commute by train (main train station located 400 m away). Hotel has two main annoyances: 1. Dated interior (it simply begs for renovation...) 2. Lousy breakfast (sparse variety and mediocre food quality) Rooms are quite spacious and acceptably equipped (a tea set, an ironing board, a deposit box). Beds are comfy enough to provide a good sleep. Air conditioning is fairly loud even if run on the slowest gear. There is a gym onsite however due to hotel's renovation is not always available for guests. Free Internet access is speedy and reliable. Staff is inconspicuous and helpful when needed. Price / value ratio is ok.
The rooms are reasonably comfortable and have everything you need, but are dated. The bathroom was also dated with a shower over bath set up. Service was fine and breakfast was a good selection of hot and cold options. The location is great if you need to be in Bracknell -- and in great proximity of shops and restaurants as it backs onto a really big new shopping centre. Overall, a reliable hotel.
I stayed here for two weeks whilst on business in Bracknell, and found the hotel quite pleasant, the facilities are good, and the staff very helpful, the location is excellent as it is a few minutes walk from the train station and is on the doorstep of the shopping centre. I think the gym was a little bit of an after thought, as you do have to walk through the bar and the restaurant in order to get to it, and the there isn't a large amount of machines in there either, but that is the only real downside I could see, I didn't eat in the restaurant as there are a large number of options now in Bracknell where you can get a meal
Came here twice in a year for work. Service was great, rooms were great, staff very helpful and kind, food excellent (actually, for me, the best bacon I have ever had in breakfast!). The surrounding area last October (2016) was a huge "under construction area", but this year (October 2017) is great. In a minutes walk you have everything, food, bars, shopping, cinemas.
We're we're visiting a friend for few days and decided to stay an extra few nights and how glad we were we did. The extremely high friendliness started before we even arrived. The hotel offered us an upgrade to a suite which was bright , spacious and very comfortable. Our only problem was the TV which caused a few problems. Also found the bath a little on the small side for a biggish person like myself. However absolutely no complaints about the staff , so friendly , knowledgeable and willing and made you feel so special. The food was excellent quality and reasonably priced. Food service was unbelievable and the layout in the restaurant was so beautiful. My only slight concern was that there was little to choose from which becomes more of a problem if your there for 7 nights. An idea would be It would be great to have a " chefs special " which changed each night. The breakfast was excellent , help yourself buffet ! The location was ideal to celebrate the opening of a new Bracknel town centre. So if your tired and want to come back or keen to get out you don't have far to walk. We set out to see a lot of Berkshire but with everything on our door step ..... why ? Superb place and would deffibately go back.
Me, my wife and our four year old son stayed here after visiting lego land. The room was ideal for three of us, a good size with an en suite and plenty of storage space. The staff at the hotel were excellent and made a real effort with our son especially at breakfast the following morning. Given the price we paid for the room, the location and the service I would say we got ourselves a bargain. I would very much recommend the hotel and if we visit the area again we will no doubt stay here again.
What a shame we only stayed one night after Ascot races. The suite was supper. Meals in restaurant too expensive so ate at local weather spoons for breakfast and evening meal. Friendly bar and front desk staff. Walking distance to railway station.
The Room I stayed in was amazing as I had great views from the window the breakfast was amazing as they had a pancake maker. The staff are very nice and the lift is easy to use as you just scan your room key to call the lift down and then you can go to your room the beds are very comfortable I would go here again
I stayed for a night, I'd been working so just needed a place to sleep. Arrived at around 11.00pm, check in, fast and courteous, good start. The room I had was huge, like a suite. Lounge, kitchen, big bedroom, pleasant bathroom. The decor is old fashioned, as is the furniture, but it's all clean, well kept and you have everything that you need. Got a good night's sleep, very quiet and comfortable. The included breakfast was good, decent choice and all fresh, hot and nicely presented. For a nights stay, £67, can't say fairer than that. Great value, decent hotel. Matt
