Having camped around Turkey, I am a very surprised by previous reviews recommending this camping for campers. The place is next to the major highway entry to Bergama, which makes it really really noisy. The property has two large dogs, which roam around freely and will surely pee in your tent (possibly twice). I love dogs, just not when they pee on my tent. A bunch of roaming cats comes a goes. One of them tried to climb up our tent and now we have nice paw holes in it. Others will make a place to sleep in the entrance when you're not there. Others will just sniff around and wake you up at night. The price tag of this camping (for campers) is on the expensive side for Turkey. Bergama offers a lot of accommodation and for 10 euro more a night you can be sleeping in a nice pension without noise or pee. Despite the price tag, toilets and showers are not new or clean (though showers are at least spacious). No toilet paper is provided. If you camp near the front you'll get more noise, if you camp near the back you'll get the stink from the trash container on the street behind the campsite. Despite nice lawn spots and some trees, we were told not to camp there because "a group of caravans was arriving the next day". Full lie. Last but not least, they think they have the right to confiscate your passport as long as you don't cash in advance instead of making a copy. As you don't want to drive a car around without a passport, I asked for it and recovered with the worst manners and only after pre-paying our full stay. I understand people leave without paying, but the property should consider campers are going to come back as long as their tent is still there, even if it has been pissed all over by their dogs. We didn't try the restaurant because of all the above discouraged us to leave any more money. Breakfast was standard but of course billed separately. Swimming pool was ok (although no shower next to it and not fully clean of dead insects). So good luck if you go there as a camper (if you love your tent and it's a bit expensive, I'd rather not). With a caravan might be a different story, but then you'll surely be paying the same costs as any of the hotels nearby.
Clean location with grass space for campers on the edge of Bergama. Campsite owner is nice and helping. In April 2014 we paid €17 per night for a family and car with a carvan. There's fast WiFi and you can eat every day in the restaurant directly in the camp :-) You can use washmachine for about €3 if I remember well. One thing is that, there's no other way to contact the facility than over phone. Owner has a Facebook page, but nobody actually manages it - that was my experience.
This restaurant and campsite is situated a couple of kms outside of Bergama. The site is extremely pleasant with mown grass and trees. Very tidy with no mess. We were in a camper van but it would be especially nice for tents. Excellent showers and dish wash/laundry. There is also a washing machine. WiFi is very good. The swimming pool was a bit contaminated with leaves and insects but it is I suppose the end of season. The restaurant was busy with tour buses during the day but quiet at night. One of the best campsites we found within the whole of Turkey.
