This is not a Hotel

when arriving at the Apartments Evamar, you cannot gain entrance as there is no Reception Area. A sign directs you to the Luxmar Hotel. You have to walk 10-15 minutes to the Luxmar Hotel to pick up your key dragging all your baggage and in this case Golf clubs as well through streets. When you pick up your keys they give us one main gate key and one door key for our group as well as a TV REMOTE??? then you walk back to the Evamar Apartments which are 90% residential hence the two secure doors. On checkout you have to reverse the whole process dragging your luggage through the streets again. The Apartments itself was clean on arrival but no cleaners visited during our stay(4 nights), Towels were never changed. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK!!

Very disappointing holiday lodgings.

Nothing like the photo online, cupboard doors in kitchen area hanging off and broken, crockery and utensils missing, broken tiles in bathroom, bath badly chipped, shower control broken, pillows on bed old and hard, should have been replaced, in all very shabby and needs updating.

Poorly maintained but spacious, well located.

Spacious apartment in convenient location but poorly furnished with no maintenance. Basic utensils were missing or of inferior quality and not usable. Management was in a different building. Requests made were ignored and services such as towel replacement after 4 days were not provided. Our stay was made successful as Evamar provided a central location and housing for 8 groups meeting for our family reunion. A plus was the lovely balcony with an ocean view.

Worst hotel I've been this far

Don't go to Evamar, Luxmar or any related hotel in Benidorm. Staff was rude and unpolite and even the foodmarket staff next door said that the owner and the staff of this hotel are scum. I changed hotel after the first night.

Don't go! It's dreadful!

Poor condition. Not maintained at all. Light fitting loose, Furniture falling to pieces, Rust in the bath. Noisy like you wouldn't believe (residents) No reception. Had to walk 10mins to collect the keys with our bags to another block. Room was freezing with no heating at all! The pool was closed and filthy!

it was dreadful,no heating, no television, broken furniture and I was not informed that it was being refurbished with no facilities at all.the electric went off one night and could not be restored thus defrosting the fridge with water all over the floor.

Great Location

Close to Bars and Clubs but in a quiet area. Close to beach. Down the road from Benidorm Palace. Really great staff. Parking free which is great in Benidorm. Going to use this hotel again. Staff speak English which is great as my Spanish is not that good yet.

Not the best hotel I have stayed in.

I do not like to leave a negative report about a hotel and to be fair we were there only one night. I have to say that although this hotel was very cheap and needed some attention it could have been much better. I found that the rooms were not very clean and small things like a good clean and new shower curatin would have impoved the room. The most disappointing thing was the staff. There was no friendly welcome in fact they hardly spoke. We arrived late so the food was no longer avalible and no direction was given to where would be open either. On departure again no polite farewell. Over all very disapointing. Again We were only there 1 night so maybe we did not catch them on a good day. There is lots of competion in Benidorm and would have expected a little more from the staff. Sorry.

Cheap and very cheerful

Exactly what it says on the tin, we went up to stay one night with friends, it was a hotel just to get our heads down, the room was basic but perfect, the beds were really comfortable and the sheets of good quality and super fresh. The staff are great, good fun and not seriuos as they are used to the type of clientel which are groups of, girls and lads on holiday. 10 min walk from the beach/paseo, and bang near the market if your there on a Sunday, for the price definitely stay again. Great

Voldoende om enkele dagen te overnachten.

Slechts 1 handdoek per persoon aanwezig. Geen handdoek voor gebruik na handen wassen en geen handdoekje/vloermatje voor uitstap uit bad. Keuken gedateerd. 2 elektrische pitjes die niet echt warm werden. We waren toch niet van te koken. Gelukkig was er een waterkoker om koffie te zetten. Chroom op keukenkraan en kranen in badkamer was grotendeels al verdwenen (door jarenlang gebruik en veelvuldige schoonmaak).

Voorzieningen ontbreken

Internet was beloofd maar niet aanwezig, er is geen personeel in Evamar en de klanten moeten een lange weg afleggen naar een ander hotel voor check in en check uit. In Evamar is geen enkele service aanwezig en zelfs de sleutels of inlichtingen moeten in Luxmar gevraagd worden. Het was er zeer koud en er was geen enkele mogelijkheid voor bijverwarming voorzien. De deur was geforceerd en sloot niet goed. Het is ook flink wandelen tot aan het strand en de bedden waren versleten.

Para una estancia corta puede pasar

Estuvimos un fin de semana 4 amigos: No está mal si apenas va a estar en el apartamento. Está lleno de gente joven que va a Benidorm a salir de fiesta. Lo mejor es la terraza que es enorme.
