This was for the second time I stayed at the Oberoi's Bengaluru and like the last time, I have just praises for the staff at the hotel. The keep raising the bar of their service level. I think they are the finest hotel that I have experienced so far. A big THANK YOU! for a very comfortable stay....
The Oberoi Bengaluru made my business trip very special. Perfect hotel to releax after a hectic business day. The garden is a treat to your eyes! Will come back! All staff members are super friendly. Don't miss the Spa - great experience!
Excellent service. Great ambience. Very helpfull workforce. Oberoi's never fails when it comes to customer support. Need to have loyalty programs more often to compete against other hotels in similar category.
The Oberoi maintains very high standard with respect and courtesy to guests. The staff takes pride in providing personal care to guest, they amaze you through out your stay by their courtesy and services. The staff is always available to help, be it related to hotel, cab, exploring city - literately anything. You can focus on your business/work and they will take care of your personal work and comfort. Rooms are clean, modern to western touch and provide a high standard of living. Restaurants within Hotel are upscale fine dinning and require very formal dress code. The Hotel considers security as priority and checks guests in/out every time just like airport security. The rooms feel safe like home. You can leave anything personal open and it won't be touched/stolen. The room service everyday keeps things in order without touching your personal belongings.
Soo good that we went back. Best service. Nice rooms. Quiet. Great bar and even greater restaurants: check it out and ask for the Chef Nimisha Verghese. She is just fabulous with tips on food. Soo friendly one would want to hire her immediately!!
Whenever Niyanta and I decide to eat out, we tend to avoid going out for Indian food. The cream and butter and spice enriched heavy food that most Indian places serve doesn't really cut if for us. So when Visheshwar Raj Singh, the General Manager and VP at The Oberoi, Bangalore, called us to come and try the modern Indian food pop up, I was intrigued to quite a measure. This pop up takes place at the hotel's Szechwan Court restaurant, and features a tasting menu of the best offerings of 'Amaranta,' the hugely successful modern Indian restaurant at The Oberoi, Gurgaon. The chef of Amaranta, Tejas Sovani, is here in Bangalore to curate the dining experience throughout the pop up that lasts most of this month. The meal that I had at the Amaranta pop up at The Oberoi, Bangalore was one of the finest culinary experiences I have had. The good thing is you are not burdened with having to choose your food (which can be quite intimidating because modern Indian food does not have easily understandable names). The menu is set - a seven course odyssey at a fixed price with each course featuring a vegetarian option. One can even opt for their suggested wine pairings for an additional price. The 63 degree poached egg with roast quail made me sit up and take notice, whereas the black cod with scallop, lobster tail in smoked kokum curry was the highlight of my meal. Niyanta swears by the homemade cottage cheese with lahsooni palak and curry leaf snow, whereas the Birbal ki khichdi intrigued and pleased in equal measure. The sambusec style dessert of beetroot and fig with fresh mango, raspberry and amras foam was the perfect finish - subtly flavoured and not overly sweet as Indian desserts can be. If you are intimidated by seven courses, don't be. The portion sizes are just right and just enough for you to polish off each course clean without making you feel stuffed to the gills.
Right from the security Man to the reception to room service staff they were friendly and exceptional. The mannerism and quality of response were extremely Humane, I have been staying in Bangaluru hotels for many years and happen to stay for one night only and tried Oberoi. I am definetly making this as a hotel of choice...
Usually stay - 15 to 30 nights every year in Oberoi, Bangalore, Mumbai and other parts of India, in total, and in my view Oberoi Hotels and hospitality is incomparable always love to stay with them always
Chef Tejas made our evening by delivering perfect 7 course meal Going out of his way and creating special dishes for vegans And the politeness and extremely high service quality by Neelam won our hearts 💕
It's a great facility with lots if amenities but they are not truly honest. I have stayed there for two weeks for business purposes and they have asked me to pay the bill at the end of first week saying the credit balance has gone high and I need to settle my bills. They have also charged extra for room fees that later I had to ask them to correct and they have also charged for some services that I haven't taken and later they have fixed them as well when I told them. But I'm not totally confident if they have charged some additional fees that I may not have looked into in details.
