Stayed for a couple of days on a work trip recently. The check-in experience was quite smooth and efficient and I was allotted a room on the 2nd floor. Am not 100% certain, but I have a feeling that all their rooms have a small balcony / sit-out - anyways, mine did. I think I had booked their 1-bedroom king-bed apartment. What I liked about the room was it was different from the usual one-room-has-it-all hotel rooms. The bedroom and the living area are separated by a sliding door and that gives one the feeling of not really staying in a hotel. Plus the location - smack in the middle of a very quiet and residential (and upscale) area in Koramangala. I am sure that the upper floors would have a good view of the tree-top canopy around the area and would probably be even quieter. The living area is well laid out, not too many pieces of furniture cluttering it and gives a nice feeling of space. The kitchenette looked well equipped for one doing a long stay and wanted to cook for themselves. To me the highlight of the stay was just how warm and hospitable the staff was the the breakfast and dinner buffets. All of them (Irfan, Bagirath and others) took the effort to ensure that one felt comfortable and at home. And they were all more than willing to cater to any specific requests made. And they were alert all the time to their guests needs and would ensure that one of the would be available to quickly attend to it - whether it be clearing the plates, a quick refill or any specific requests made. At the dinner buffet, Chef Gopal could be seen walking around and speaking to the guests in the restaurant. Would definitely try and stay here again just for the service.

Been there for business trip for a week and i really can't find a better hotel in Bangalore.awesome hospitality at grand mercure.Great reception team,spcl mention about Jhilik and team who helped me with check in. Breakfast at coffee shop is great, Sai,Tanmay and Guha made it memorable,the mango milkshake by Guha was yumm.Sai was always prompt with my coffee order and refill.great poolside restaurant,evening well spent with clients.thanks all for the wonderful memories.

In Bangalore for work and have been staying at Grand Mercure Bangalore for the past 5 months. From lodging, transportation arrangements, dining experience to the AccorHotel Loyalty program, everything has been pleasant and well handled by the team at the Hotel. Dining - The buffet dinner at 12th Main offers a spread with a variety of food catering to different cultures. Chef Vilas and his team never fails to make us feel welcomed at the restaurant with bright smiles and greetings. The waitstaff (Saikiran, Irfan, Sathish, Anoop and Mustafiq) are always very attentive to our needs and are well aware of our dining preferences. The variety of desserts served there are also a delight, with our favourites being the chocolate mud pudding, strawberry tarts, black forest cake, etc. We would like to thank everyone for the positive dining experience. Guest Services and Transportation - Daily transportation arrangements to the office are always prompt and on-time. The front desk personnel are also very helpful in assisting us with the receiving of parcels and deliveries,etc. Guest services is always very prompt in assisting us when we call in with our requests. Would like to name a few of the personnel here but I am forgetful and cant remember their names (except for Sanjay). Would also like to thank Mr Gibu and his team for ensuring that we have a pleasant experience at the hotel. Thank you all for the wonderful experience.

Travelling frequently to India/Bangalore since years, I´ve seen many hotels in the city. When it came to the decision for a 6 month stay, I chose the Grand Mercure mainly for 2 reasons: No. 1 is the staff, the hotel team. They gave me a very good time, always friendly, obliging, and interested in improvin my stay. The kitchen (Vilas and team), the restaurant service (Divya, Sai, Anoop, Bagirath, Irfan, and all the others), the front desk (Jhilik and colleagues), room service (Magesh and colleagues) - for me it was a pleasure to have these people around me. They were always open to support with some "extras" concerning room, food, whatever comes up during such a long stay. No. 2 is the location, middle of hip and fancy Koramangale, which is for me one of the most interesting areas of the town. Not located at a big street, surrounded by a residential neighbourhood with nice villas and public parks, it´s the most quiet hotel I ever had in India. It is the only hotel I found, where you find within a walking radius of 15 min an uncountable number of restaurants, bars and cafés - no need to always take a rickshaw or Uber (which can be annoying), so especially for a longer stay there´s a good chance to organize the leisure time within this block. I had a 2-room suite, by the way, nicely furnished, well-maintained, and I used it as my 2nd office, always felt comfortable. All the facilities and services I did not mention explicitely were simply on a 5-star hotel level.

When it comes to dinning out, AccorHotels name comes first.Few days back we decided to Visit Grand Mercure and had a lovely evening with mouth watering starter served on the table and a large variety of food offered on buffet.Anoop insisted to try the pizza and my daughter loved it.Chef Vilas took a good care of our food & Sai was there to offer everything before I ask for.I must Thank Manoj for Lovely Mocktail made with perfection and his personalized service. Overall it was a memorable evening,A big Thanks to Mr.Venkat & Chef Gopal for beautiful arrangements & Delicious cake.

One of the most important thing about choosing a hotel in Bangalore is location. You need to be within a km or two of where you are working otherwise you risk spending way too long in traffic. The hotel was clean and I enjoyed the two restaurants, both served dinner late which was useful given my work schedule. The room was also clean and quiet. The gym was also functional. Would stay here again if I needed to be in this neighborhood.

Located in the middle of the city in a very residential area with a pleasant ambience. Rooms are really spacious and well maintained. The corridors have wonderful portraits of major touristic attractions of Karnataka. The breakfast had quite a decent spread. Overall, good value for money and recommended.

Stayed here during my last trip to Bangalore and was disappointed to say the least. Reached the hotel at 2am and was planning to stay for 2 nights. However due to an emergency had to leave by 2pm the same day. Requested them to consider and not charge me for 2 days when I had stayed there for not even 12 hrs. But they said we have a strict cancellation policy and can't do much . I asked can I speak to the duty manager and he didn't care much either , didn't even show up to meet me. Had a flight to catch so just left it at that. The hotel is located in the middle of a residential area and not much you can do if you step out. One does expect better customer service from a global chain of hotels and with number of options available in Bangalore this one is off the consideration set. So stay here but dont expect much.

Grand mercure Bangalore is located in koramangala area. This hotel is having twin rooms studio rooms. The place is. It so big but all amenities are available. Swimming pool is good. Buffet breakfast is is good. Bathroom is not so big but convenient. Location is not so convenient.Staff are good and helpful.

I don't want to sound like negative person, but i struggled to find anything positive. will try to write an honest review: - I fell sick the moment i came to this hotel (not hotel's fault). I had high fever and low energy. they offered to call a doctor at hotel, and i agreed. Doctor never showed up and staff never followed up until i called. They told me in morning, the doc will be at hotel in 30 min, the same reply they gave me at 2.15, and by the way, i had to follow up for this, they never updated me. I couldn't trust the person talking to me and decided to go to nearby clinic myself. - I dont like ground floor. I asked them to shift me to higher floor, at the time of check in. they promised to move me to different room next day. Since i ended up staying in hotel due to sickness, i followed up 3 times with the staff on movement, everytime they promised that they will change it or they will come back in 10 min, but they did not have decency to even call back. I understand hotels are sold out, the least i expect is a response so that i don't keep waiting. I had to stay with all curtains shut because there was car parking and driver socializing area right outside the room window. - Food choices are very poor. On top of it, when I asked for Poori Bhaji, hoping to get standard Aaloo bhaji, they served me Eggplant with poori. I was amused and annoyed at same time.. - And icing on the cake, the duty manager had some kind of ego problem. On third day my office staff decided to move me to other hotel, that duty manager rang the doorbell, and made me open the door and listen to him for 3 times in less than one hour. Just to give me explanations. The manager didnt even care that i was sick and couldn't even stand, but his priority was to explain himself, no matter if it made me more sick, no matter if it was troubling me. All other hotels, managers either send the note to ask for permission to meet, or wait outside in lobby for guest to come out and then meet. I don't know what this guy was thinking. No wonder the whole staff seems quite irresponsible. - I have been to O2 spa there, it looks like a shabby place. It smells bad. - Overall hotel is quite average, rooms are good but bathrooms are bad, and with staff so bad and careless, not a place that i will ever recommend.
