Palm Cottage - Benalla
We had a lovely stay at Palm Cottage. It was clean and quiet.A couple of negatives, while I understand people take anything that isn’t nailed down, disappointing to have to buy toilet rolls on day one and also paper towel. The toilet rolls were empty in both toilets and only one spare roll so we bought some and left it there for the next people to come and use same with the paper towel.. I had my mum with me who is 90 and she struggled with a step at the front because it was the same colour with no warning about the stepdown out the front she nearly fell. It definitely needs a strip across the front to recognise that there is a step there. The other problem was the rubbish bins were totally full to the brim and we had trouble emptying the inside bins when we left as we didn’t know what night bin night was. We couldn’t leave the bins out which we would’ve been happy to do had we known what I’ve been night was.Thank you for your prompt response when we had a problem with the toilet. Luckily we managed to fix it ourselves. It was great that you were on hand. Should we need you.All in all, we had a lovely stay and I have no trouble recommending Palm Cottage.
